Abstract:
Disclosed are: a power control method for receiving a measurement report message with respect to an RRH from a terminal, transmitting RAT information to the terminal, receiving a wake-up request message and setting a power state of the RRH to switch-on; and a power control method for determining switch-off of the RRH on the basis of the measurement report message from the terminal, transmitting an RRH state change request message to BBUs, transmitting an RRH state change command message, switching the RRH and setting the power state of the RRH to switch-off, in a cloud RAN environment in which the RRH and the BBUs are separated.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a network controller within a core network in a radio communication system, and a method for forming an interface with a terminal. In the network controller, if a terminal requests a predetermined radio node for a connection between the terminal and a core network through a first radio interface by a first radio protocol, a connection to the terminal by a NAS protocol is established and configuration information for the connection to the terminal is stored, and if the terminal requests the radio node for a connection between the terminal and the core network through a second radio interface by a second radio protocol, a connection to the terminal by the NAS protocol may be established using the configuration information.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a BBU and a method of obtaining RRU information, which comprises, in a heterogeneous cell environment in which a macro cell and small cell coexist, a BBU receiving, from a terminal and via a serving RRU of the terminal connected to the BBU, a measurement reporting message that includes information on an RRU transmitting, to the terminal, a reference signal at an intensity equal to or stronger than a threshold value, and determining the RRU as a neighboring RRU of the serving RRU by using information included in the measurement reporting message.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless access system, and provides a method of transmitting and receiving cell information by using a synchronization signal in a small-cell layout environment and a device supporting the same. A method of transmitting cell information in a wireless access system as an embodiment of the present invention may include the steps of: configuring one or more pieces of cell information by means of a base station; configuring a downlink synchronization signal including one or more pieces of cell information by means of the base station; and broadcasting the downlink synchronization signal by means of the base station. In this case, the cell information is configured to be information different from the downlink synchronization information configured based on the downlink synchronization signal.
Abstract:
An uplink control method includes reporting information on user equipment (UE) transmit power for a first RAT and a second RAT upon transmission of uplink data to an entity of the first RAT, receiving a message including information for deactivating an uplink of one of the first and the second RATs from the entity of the first RAT, when a sum of the UE transmit powers of the uplink data for the first RAT and the second RAT exceeds first maximum transmit power, and selectively deactivating the uplink of the one of the first and the second RATs based on the message from an entity of the first RAT.
Abstract:
A method for a terminal in a first communication system to transmit a power headroom report in a network supporting interworking of a plurality of communication systems comprises a step for transmitting a power headroom report comprising a power headroom value related to a second communication system, when a predetermined triggering condition occurs in a state in which the terminal is accessing the first and second communication systems simultaneously, wherein the power headroom report can comprise information regarding maximum transmission power for the second communication system.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a transmission method and a base station comprising: user equipment confirming a handover to be performed; transmitting to a macro cell a data forwarding request message for requesting forwarding of downlink data of a small cell to the user equipment, when the user equipment can establish an X2 or S1 interface with the macro cell to perform the handover; receiving from the macro cell a data forwarding response message for indicating establishment of a wireless bearer with the macro cell; and transmitting the downlink data to the macro cell through the established wireless bearer, based on the data forwarding response message.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a macro cell base station and a method for managing a connection with a small cell by: receiving a first measurement report message of the small cell from user equipment and deciding an activation of the connection with the small cell based on same; transmitting to the small cell a message indicating the activation of a connection with the user equipment, when the small cell has a different cell ID from a cell ID of the macro cell; receiving from the small cell a message for indicating scheduling for the user equipment; and indicating to the user equipment the connection with the small cell.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for updating information on a cellular system in a wireless communication system is provided. An access point (AP) transmits a request for information on a cellular system and an update configuration for the information on the cellular system to a multi-radio access technology (RAT) device supporting a plurality of RATs, receives a first response to the request, which includes the information on the cellular system, from the multi-RAT device, and receives a second response, which is an update of the first response, according to the update configuration from the multi-RAT device.
Abstract:
This method whereby a mobility management entity (MME) in a first communication system updates base station information in a converged network supporting multiple communication systems comprises the steps of: receiving a first message including changed information from a base station in a second communication system if information from and related to the base station in the second communication system has changed or if information related to a base station in the first communication system has changed; and updating with the changed information on the basis of the first message.
