摘要: A generation device includes: a communication interface via which two-dimensional (2D) images are to be received, the 2D images having been generated by photographing a space from different viewpoints with at least one camera; and a processor connected to the communication interface and configured to determine, according to the 2D images, a matching pattern to match feature points included in two pictures among the 2D images, match the feature points according to the matching pattern in order to generate first three-dimensional (3D) points, the first 3D points indicating respective first positions in the space, generate second 3D point based on the 2D images, the second 3D point indicating a second position in the space, and generate a 3D model of the space based on the first 3D points and the second 3D point.

摘要: A three-dimensional data encoding method includes: (i) when a first flag indicates a first value, creating a first occupancy pattern indicating occupancy states of second neighboring nodes including a first neighboring node having a parent node different from a parent node of a current node included in an N-ary tree structure of three-dimensional points included in three-dimensional data, and determining whether first encoding is usable based on the first occupancy pattern, the first encoding being for encoding pieces of position information of three-dimensional points included in the current node without dividing the current node into child nodes; (ii) when the first flag indicates a second value, creating a second occupancy pattern indicating occupancy states of third neighboring nodes excluding the first neighboring node, and determining whether the first encoding is usable based on the second occupancy pattern; and (iii) generating a bitstream including the first flag.

摘要: A three-dimensional data encoding method includes: generating a bitstream by encoding subspaces included in a current space in which three-dimensional points are included. The bitstream includes encoded data respectively corresponding to the subspaces. In the generating of the bitstream, a list of information about the subspaces is stored in first control information included in the bitstream. The subspaces are respectively associated with identifiers assigned to the subspaces, and the first control information is common to the encoded data. Each of the identifiers assigned to the subspaces respectively corresponding to the encoded data is stored in a header of a corresponding one of the encoded data.

The fixed number is greater than or equal to two.

摘要: An image encoding method includes acquiring a constant bit rate or a variable bit rate, determining temporal layers for a plurality of images, and setting, in a case where the constant bit rate is selected, (1) a first bit rate type of a top temporal layer to the constant bit rate, and (2) a second bit rate type of one or more other layers to the variable bit rate. The method also includes setting, in a case where the variable bit rate is selected, both the first bit rate type of the top temporal layer and the second bit rate of the one or more layers to the variable bit rate. The method further includes encoding each of the plurality of images, prohibiting reference to the images with the temporal layers higher than each of the temporal layers that each of the images belongs to, and generating the bitstream.
