    摘要: A method in a base station for calculating a power relating to a first radio access is provided. The power is to be shared with a second radio access within the base station. The base station communicates with a number of user equipments using the first radio access. When the base station has estimated a statistic power distribution of transmit power to said user equipments during a time interval, it calculates a margin of power not to be shared with the second radio access, based on the estimated statistic power distribution. The base station further calculates a power to be shared with the second radio access, based on said margin of power.

The link adaptation margin estimate is then used for supporting link adaptation for the radio link.

    摘要: A radio network resource controller directs a first network node associated with a first cell region, or a wireless terminal in communication through the first cell region, to measure and report radio resource-related data selected from the group consisting of: resource activity per channel; the number of transmitted power samples that exceed a threshold over a measurement period; and, channel quality samples that exceed a quality threshold. The controller then receives at least one measurement report of the radio resource-related data and, as a function of the radio resource-related data in the first cell region, dynamically reallocates the distribution of resources, such as radio-frequency channels, between the first cell region and at least a second cell region. The invention has a particular advantage in TDD mode of operation where efficient and dynamic interference mitigation is needed to combat the inherent mobile-to-mobile and base station-to-base station interference.

According to the present invention this object is achieved by a self-optimizing repeater (10) for use in a wireless communication network using predetermined carrier communication resources per cell. The self-optimizing repeater (10) comprises an amplifier (12) adapted to amplify a first subset of communication resources selected from, the carrier communication resources, a monitoring unit (14) adapted to monitor traffic load on the first subset of communication resources, and an adjustment unit (16) adapted to adjust the first subset of communication resources as a function of the monitored traffic load. The operation of the self-optimizing repeater is fully transparent and no control signaling is necessary to control the self-optimizing repeater.
