    摘要: The invention relates to handover of a mobile station (12) from a source cell (C1) to a target cell (C2) in a wireless communication network (10, 11). According to the invention communication improving data in relation to communication between the source cell and the mobile station (12) is collected by a communication improving node (14) prior to handover and communication improving physical layer data being at least based on said collected communication improving data is transferred to a device (41) handling communication between the target cell and the mobile station. The communication handling device then uses the communication improving physical layer data to improve the quality of the initial communication between the mobile station and the target cell after handover to the target cell.

The link adaptation method has link adaptation optimization purpose which is achieved by updating a link adaptation parameter on the basis of the load on the data channel and on the basis of the load of a control channel controlling the data channel in the cell. The method obtains a better trade-off between the spectral efficiency and the delay, due to re-transmissions.

    摘要: Embodiments herein relate to a method in a radio base station for transmitting information of an allocation of a radio resource allocated to a second user equipment. The radio base station is arranged to serve a first user equipment and the second user equipment in a cell of a radio communications network. The radio resource in the cell comprises Physical Resource Blocks that are organized in radio frames comprising subframes. The radio base station allocates a radio resource to the second user equipment in a subframe of the cell based on a frequency hopping scheme of the first user equipment. Also, the radio base station transmits a message to the second user equipment, which message indicates the allocated radio resource.

In several embodiments, a mobile terminal (200) is configured to effectively ignore ‘UP’ transmit power control commands in the event that the mobile terminal (200) is operating in a power-limited state. In an exemplary method for controlling transmit power at a mobile terminal (200), a plurality of transmit power control commands are received. An accumulated power control value is adjusted (350) in response to each transmit power control command that directs a negative adjustment in transmit power. However, the accumulated power control value is adjusted (350) in response to a transmit power control command that directs a positive adjustment in transmit power only if the mobile terminal (200) is not in a power-limited state. Transmit power settings for each transmission are calculated (360) based on the accumulated power control value and the one or more radio link parameters.

    摘要: In a method and a device for requesting Channel Quality Indication (CQI) reports from a mobile station of a cellular radio system, the CQI reports are requested in response to a measured Block Error Rate (BLER) of transmissions from the mobile station. In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention a CQI report is requested if the BLER of the mobile station is above a predetermined threshold value C. The threshold value C can be set to a value related to the BLER target. In particular the value C can be set to the same value or as a value close the BLER that is targeted to try to adapt the CQI report request to how well the base station knows the channel. It can also be set higher or lower to also consider how much CQ1 reporting the base station estimates can be afforded when it comes to uplink resources and uplink grant signaling in the downlink.
