Abstract: In multi-beam communication, the UE may assist in the scheduling of beams utilized during the multi-beam communication by improving the manner in which the quality of the beam is reported to the network. The apparatus may measure a signal received from a base station on at least one beam. The apparatus may detect a triggering event for providing CSI for the at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an uplink transmission comprising a CSI report in response to detecting the triggering event. The apparatus may receive an uplink request from a UE for providing CSI for at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an indication scheduling a CSI report in response to the uplink request. The apparatus may receive an uplink transmission from the UE comprising the CSI report for the at least one beam.

Abstract: In order to overcome problems that a UE may face in determining a default beam for communication with the base station during a COT, a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium are provided for a base station to indicate to the UE which CORESET(s), QCL assumptions, UL resources, and/or spatial relationships are selected for a COT. A UE receives, from a base station, an indication corresponding to a COT. The indication is for at least one of a set of CORESETs, a set of QCL assumptions, a set of UL resources, or a set of spatial relations for determining a default beam. The UE determines the default beam from the base station for use during the COT based on the indication. The UE transmits or receives a transmission using the default beam.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to transition to communicating on a first bandwidth part from communicating on a second bandwidth part. In order to ensure that the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part, after transitioning to communicating on the first bandwidth part, the UE may be configured to perform receiver processing using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part. That is, for a configured period of time, before the UE is able to perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the first bandwidth part, the UE may perform receiver processing for demodulating data received on the first bandwidth part using reference signals received on the second bandwidth part.

In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit an indication to a base station to configure a control channel of a downlink beam in accordance with a full duplex failure detection control resource set (CORESET), wherein the full duplex failure detection CORESET is used based at least in part on the UE being associated with a full duplex communication link that includes the downlink beam and an uplink beam; and monitor a reference signal on the control channel of the downlink beam based at least in part on the full duplex failure detection CORESET in order to detect a beam failure on the downlink beam while transmitting the uplink beam, wherein monitoring the reference signal is based at least in part on a threshold that is based on one or more uplink transmission parameters. Abstract: A base station may make more efficient use of resources by transmitting data in a control region of a slot in addition to a data region. In order to avoid performance loss, the base station may adjust the data transmission in the control region in comparison to a data transmission in a data region and may signal an indication to a UE to assist the UE in receiving the data transmission in the control region. An apparatus for wireless communication at the UE receives the indication from the base station regarding the data transmission in the control region and uses the indication to perform rate matching or demodulation of the data transmission in the control region. The indication may indicate any of a different MCS/rank/TPR, a reduced MCS/rank/TPR, an MCS/rank/TPR delta, a control span for a group of UEs, and a starting symbol for the data transmission. The indication may also indicate that there is no data transmitted on resources in the control region.
