摘要: A neutralization of an equivalent parallel capacitor of a piezoelectric resonator is realized to obtain a stable activation of oscillation and secure a large frequency variation. A crystal resonator is connected between an input and output terminals of an inverting amplifier to form a Colpitts-type oscillator circuit, an input terminal of another inverting amplifier is connected to the output terminal through a capacitor and the output terminal is connected to the input terminal through another capacitor to form a Miller capacitor circuit for electrically neutralizing a parallel capacitor existing equivalently between both sides of the crystal resonator.

摘要: An information reproduction method and apparatus reproduces information recorded on an optical disk by projecting a beam of light that has a variable power, determined according to its position in the radial direction of the optical disk. According to a first embodiment of the invention, the projection of the beam of light is moved to the outer perimeter of the radius of the optical disk when it is not possible to move the beam of light so as to correctly follow the information recording tracks formed on the optical disk. As an alternative to the first embodiment (or in addition thereto), the projection of the light beam can be controlled such that the focus of the beam of light is removed from the recording surface of the optical disk when it is not possible to move the beam of light so as to correctly follow the information recording tracks formed on the optical disk. For example, the light beam can be focused on a point further than (i.e., beyond) the surface of the disk. As another alternative, the beam of light is projected at or below the power that does not destroy the recorded information at the innermost perimeter of the optical disk during seek actions that occur when changing the tracks to be reproduced. When the seek actions end and the intended tracks are recorded, the power of the beam of light is set to the power necessary to reproduce those tracks.

摘要: An optical disk recording device, an optical disk playback device, and an optical disk system have a large on-line capacity, a high speed data transfer speed, and a smooth data transfer speed. The optical disk recording device includes a plurality of recording units to record on a plurality of optical disks and a control unit that divides the data to be recorded between a plurality of optical disks, sends the divided data to the plurality of recording units, and fixes the amount of data recorded per unit time on each disk. In the optical disk playback device, a plurality of playback units replaces the plurality of recording units. The control unit controls, as substantially fixed, the total playback amount of data per unit time from the plurality of optical disks, and combines data from the plurality of optical disks played back by the playback units. In the optical system, the device accepts a magazine of optical disk cartridges that each house an optical disk. The optical disks are loaded into a plurality of recording or playback units by a conveying unit, with the conveying unit including multiple conveyance devices.

摘要: A camera for setting the aspect ratio of a photographic image plane and recording information of the set aspect ratio has a full-size frame defining a full-size finder image plane corresponding to a photographing image plane, a vertical mask for vertical trimming of the finder image plane, a lateral mask for lateral trimming of the finder image plane, a shaft supporting the masks, and a camshaft with a cam groove engaged by each of the masks. The masks are moved along the shaft by rotating the camshaft. The visual field range of the finder image plane is changed among a plurality of states corresponding to different aspect ratios. The camera finder visual field frame switching mechanism consists of: a vertical mask for vertical trimming, lateral mask for lateral trimming, cam gear having a cam, vertically movable mask operating member, a vertical trimming switch detecting vertical-mask trimming movement, which is aspect ratio information, and a lateral trimming switch detecting lateral-mask trimming movement positional information which is also aspect ratio information. Another embodiment is provided with a vertical mask for vertical trimming of a finder image plane and a lateral mask for lateral trimming of the finder image plane, which, after the vertical mask retreats from a vertical trimming position, moves the lateral mask to a lateral trimming position. After the lateral mask retreats from the lateral trimming position, the vertical mask is moved to the vertical trimming position.

摘要: A magneto-optical recording process is produced by irradiating a recording track of a recording medium, in the course of movement thereof, with a main light beam of intensity sufficient for heating the medium to a temperature at which the coercive force thereof is reduced to zero or a very small value in a continuous manner during the recording operation and irradiating a separating area with a subsidiary beam of a modulated intensity, thereby modulating the vertical magnetization of said separating area. A floating magnetic field generated by the thus modulated vertical magnetization generates magnetic fields of mutually different directions, thus forming a record bit on the recording track.
