    Abstract: Common noise is reduced from light-receiving data. A display module includes a display apparatus and a reading circuit. Each of a first pixel and a second pixel adjacent to each other in the display apparatus includes a light-receiving element and a light-emitting element. The reading circuit includes a differential input circuit. Common noise generated when display data is supplied to a light-emitting element, for example, may affect a first light-receiving signal output by the first pixel and a second light-receiving signal output by the second pixel. A first current is generated using the first light-receiving signal and a ramp signal, and a second current is generated using the second light-receiving signal and a first potential. The differential input circuit is controlled so that the first current and the second current have the same current value, whereby common noise can be removed from the first light-receiving signal.

    Abstract: A novel display panel that is highly convenient or reliable is provided. A novel display device is provided. The display panel includes a display region, a first terminal region, and a second terminal region, and the first terminal region is provided not to block the display region and includes a region overlapping with the display region. The first terminal region includes a first group of terminals, and the first group of terminals includes a first terminal. The second terminal region includes a second group of terminals, and the second group of terminals includes a second terminal. The display region includes one group of pixels, another group of pixels, a scan line, and a signal line. The one group of pixels includes a pixel and is arranged in a row direction. The another group of pixels includes the pixel and is arranged in a column direction intersecting the row direction. The scan line is electrically connected to the one group of pixels. The signal line is electrically connected to the another group of pixels, and the signal line is electrically connected to the first terminal and the second terminal.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to suppress deterioration in the thin film transistor. A plurality of pulse output circuits each include first to eleventh thin film transistors is formed. The pulse output circuit is operated on the basis of a plurality of clock signals which control each transistor, the previous stage signal input from a pulse output circuit in the previous stage, the next stage signal input from a pulse output circuit in the next stage, and a reset signal. In addition, a microcrystalline semiconductor is used for a semiconductor layer serving as a channel region of each transistor. Therefore, degradation of characteristics of the transistor can be suppressed.

    Abstract: A circuit which detects an output current from a pixel and an output current from an input device, and converts the output current into data is provided. The current detection circuit includes an integer circuit, a comparator, a counter, and a latch. The integrator circuit integrates the potential of a first signal during a period determined by a second signal and outputting it as a third signal. The comparator compares the potential of the third signal with a first potential and outputting a fourth signal. The counter outputs the number of pulses included in a fifth signal as a sixth signal during a period determined by the fourth signal. The latch holds the sixth signal. The integrator circuit preferably further includes an operational amplifier and some capacitors. The first signal is supplied from a pixel included in a display device or an input portion included in an input device.

    Abstract: A novel display is provided. A display having a small change in chromaticity of a micro light-emitting diode in proportion to current density is provided. A display capable of reducing power consumption in the driver circuit when displaying a still image is provided. The display includes a plurality of pixels each including a display element and a microcontroller. The microcontroller includes a first transistor, a triangular wave generator circuit, a comparator, a switch, and a constant current circuit. The first transistor has a function of retaining a potential corresponding to data written to the pixel by being switched off. The triangular wave generator circuit has a function of generating a triangular wave signal. The comparator has a function of generating an output signal corresponding to the potential and the triangular wave signal. The switch has a function of controlling whether or not to make a current flowing in the constant current circuit flow to the display element in accordance with the output signal.

    Abstract: A battery control circuit having a novel structure, a battery protection circuit having a novel structure, and a power storage device including the battery circuit are provided. A semiconductor device includes n cell balancing circuits that respectively correspond to one secondary battery and each include a transistor, a comparator circuit, and a capacitor. In each of the n cell balancing circuits, an inverting input terminal of the comparator circuit and one electrode of the capacitor are electrically connected to one of a source and a drain of the transistor. The semiconductor device has functions of supplying a ground potential to the other electrode of the capacitor; turning on the transistor; supplying a first potential to the one electrode of the capacitor; turning off the transistor; electrically connecting the other electrode of the capacitor and a negative electrode of the secondary battery corresponding to each cell balancing circuit; supplying a sum of the first potential and a potential of the negative electrode of the secondary battery corresponding to each cell balancing circuit, to the one electrode of the capacitor; and controlling charging of the secondary battery corresponding to each cell balancing circuit.

    Abstract: A secondary battery deteriorates due to repeated charging and discharging, which leads to a decrease in a battery voltage and a battery capacity. The lifetime of a secondary battery is prolonged by preventing charging at an excessive charging value that would be caused by deterioration of the secondary battery. By performing charge control in consideration of the degree of deterioration of a secondary battery, a longer lifetime of a secondary battery can be achieved. In charging a secondary battery, a charge control circuit controls a current value to a preset value, and a charging current control circuit (specifically a circuit including an error amplifier) included in a protection circuit determines a current value supplied to the secondary battery. That is, the current value supplied to the secondary battery is controlled by both the charge control circuit and the charging current control circuit that is a part of the protection circuit.

    Abstract: A power supply circuit with a novel structure is provided. The power supply circuit includes a power converter circuit supplying power to a load; a current sensing circuit generating a first signal including data on a current flowing through the load; a voltage sensing circuit generating a second signal including data on a voltage applied to the load; a correction circuit that includes a digital filter, a digital-analog converter circuit to which a signal output from the digital filter is input, and a sample-and-hold circuit for retaining a signal output from the digital-analog converter circuit and generates a third signal obtained by correcting the second signal; a selection circuit selecting the first signal or the third signal; an output circuit generating an output signal for controlling the power converter circuit in accordance with the signal selected by the selection circuit; and a control signal generation circuit controlling switching between a first operation for generating the output signal in accordance with the first signal and generating the third signal and a second operation for generating the output signal in accordance with the third signal.
