    摘要: A method for analyzing a thought system of a subject consisting of at least one individual is disclosed. The analyzing method comprising the steps of: obtaining a plurality of items perceived by the subject; obtaining relationship information of all possible item pairs based on perception of the subject with respect to relationship between two items of each of said all possible item pairs; generating a relation matrix of the plurality of items based on the relationship information of each of the items with respect to the all other items; transforming the relation matrix to a display matrix projected on a representation space having dimensions lower than the number of the items and reflecting a relationship between the items perceived by the subject; and displaying the items on the representation space according to the display matrix such that the items are plotted on respective positions in the representation. An apparatus for analyzing a thought system of a subject which is adapted to perform the present analyzing method is also disclosed.

    摘要: The present invention provides a belt fastening means that can improve fittability of a shoe and that can equally tighten an upper of the shoe to a wearer's foot without hindering the movement of the foot. A belt fastening means for a shoe includes a first belt member disposed mainly on a lateral side portion of an upper and a second belt member disposed mainly on a medial side portion of the upper. The first and second belt members are located at nearly symmetrical positions with respect to an opening portion. A proximal end portion of the first belt member is connected to a sole on the lateral side and a distal end portion thereof extends over the opening portion. The first belt member extends in a direction nearly perpendicular to a ridge line of an instep portion as viewed from a lateral side of the shoe. A proximal end portion of the second belt member is connected to the sole on the medial side and a distal end portion thereof extends over the opening portion. The second belt member extends in a direction nearly perpendicular to the ridge line of the instep portion as viewed from a medial side of the shoe. The second belt member is formed with an elongated aperture into which the first belt member is inserted. The first and second belt members are releasably secured on the instep portion through hook and loop fastening materials.

    摘要: A disc device has a movable mechanism used for moving a carriage carrying a disc so that the carriage either projects from an apparatus or is inserted into the apparatus. The disc carried by the carriage is exposed for an operator to handle the disc when the carriage projects from the apparatus. The disc carried by the carriage is contained in the apparatus after the carriage has been inserted into the apparatus. A rotating unit rotates the disc carried by the carriage and an accessing unit accesses the disc carried by the carriage. The disc device is incorporated into the apparatus. A locking mechanism locks the carriage in the apparatus, and a releasing unit causes the locking mechanism to release locking of the carriage in the apparatus. The releasing unit causes the rotating unit to stop rotating of the disc and also causes the accessing unit to stop accessing the disc, prior to each time the releasing unit causes the locking mechanism to release locking of the carriage in the apparatus. The locking mechanism is contained in the carriage.

    摘要: A tandem vacuum servo unit includes a movable power piston having a supporting portion and a front movable wall member having a first engaging portion for engaging the movable power piston. The first engaging portion has an input side face that engages the output side face of the supporting portion along a first contacting portion. A rear movable wall member has a second engaging portion whose input side face engages the output side face of the first engaging portion along a second contacting portion. The first contacting portion is spaced radially outwardly of the second contacting portion. This construction of the vacuum servo unit increases the durability of the front movable wall member.
