摘要: A water-soluble working fluid of the invention is used for cutting a brittle material using a wire saw. The water-soluble working fluid is provided by blending water, alkylene oxide adduct of acethylene glycol, and glycols. The water-soluble working fluid of the invention is capable of providing favorable cutting accuracy when the brittle material is cut using a wire, and thus is suitable for cutting out a large-diameter wafer. The water-soluble working fluid of the invention is especially suitably applicable to an abrasive-grain-fixed wire saw.

摘要: The working fluid composition for a refrigerating machine of the present invention comprises a refrigerant comprising a first refrigerant component and a second refrigerant component, and having a global warming potential (GWP) of 500 or less, wherein the first refrigerant component is at least one selected from difluoromethane and tetrafluoropropene, and the second refrigerant component is at least one selected from carbon dioxide and a hydrocarbon having 3 to 4 carbon atoms; and a refrigerating machine oil comprising at least one selected from a polyol ester, a polyvinyl ether and a polyalkylene glycol compound as a base oil, wherein a carbon/oxygen molar ratio of the base oil is 2.5 or more and 5.8 or less.

The physical properties of the compositions of include a high dry equilibrium reflux boiling point (ERBP), a high wet equilibrium reflux boiling point (WERBP), and a low temperature viscosity. These compositions are particularly useful because their physical properties (e.g., WERBP, ERBP, and low temperature viscosity) meet or exceed the provisions for DOT 3 brake fluids under the Federal Motor Vehicle Standard No. 116.
