    摘要: A water softening module has a case body which includes cover members secured to their respective ends of a cylindrical case. A pair of electrodes are provided in the case body. A fibrous medium is located in contact with a water-outlet-side face of the electrodes. The fibrous medium has a stacked structure constituted of a first fiber layer and a second fiber layer, which are electrically conductive. The first fiber layer is positioned in contact with the upstream side of the second fiber layer, and the first fiber layer is positioned in contact with the downstream-side face of the electrodes. The specific surface area of the first layer is smaller than that of the second fiber layer.

    摘要: In a synthesis of a borazine compound by a reaction of an alkali boron hydride represented by ABH4 (A represents lithium atom, sodium atom or potassium atom) and an amine salt represented by (RNH3)nX (R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, X represents a sulfate group or a halogen atom, and n is 1 or 2), or b) diborane (B2H6) and an amine represented by RNH2 (R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group), a water content of raw material is controlled below a prescribed value; mixed solvents containing solvents each having a prescribed boiling point are used as a solvent for reaction; or a raw material is gradually fed to a reactor in a reaction. Or, a borazine compound is subjected to distillation purification treatment and filtration treatment. By such a method, a high purity of borazine compound can be produced safely and in a high yield.

    摘要: A memory device is provided. The memory device includes a memory layer and a fixed-magnetization layer. The memory layer retains information based on a magnetization state of a magnetic material. The fixed-magnetization layer is formed on the memory layer through an intermediate layer made of an insulating material. The information is recorded on the memory layer with a change in a magnetization direction of the memory layer caused by injecting a spin-polarized electron in a stacked direction. A level of effective demagnetizing field, which is received by the memory layer, is smaller than a saturation-magnetization level of magnetization of the memory layer.

    摘要: An outer peripheral surface (8d) of a bearing sleeve (8) is formed on a radially inside with respect to a first dynamic pressure generation portion (B1). In this case, it is possible to reduce a thickness of the bearing sleeve (8) while securing a first thrust dynamic pressure generating portion (B1) which has a thrust load capacity equivalent to that in a conventional case where a thrust dynamic pressure generating portion is formed in an end surface of the bearing sleeve. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the thickness of the bearing sleeve (8) without sacrificing a bearing performance in a thrust direction. With this structure, a total amount of a lubricating oil sealed in a bearing device can be reduced, thereby reducing a capacity of a buffering function so as to downsize a sealing portion (9), and by extension, downsizing a fluid dynamic bearing device (1).
