摘要: A method for text capture is provided. The method monitors a text session among a set of mobile text-enabled devices capable of having mixed operating system types. The method captures messages and message metadata from the text session by a machine-attended message-capture-dedicated phone configured for reception-or-pass-through-only with respect to the mobile text-enabled devices. The method receives the messages and the message metadata from the message-capture-dedicated phone by a remote message capture device that is constrained to have a compatible operating system type as the machine-attended message-capture-dedicated phone but unconstrained with respect to the operating system type of the set of mobile text-enabled devices. The method stores the metadata and the message metadata for remote access in a searchable remote message repository, unconstrained with respect to the operating system type of the set of mobile text-enabled devices, the machine-attended message-capture-dedicated phone, and the remote message capture device.

摘要: Vertical explosive reactive armor (VERA) include: an explosive material, an inert plate, a damping material, a casing; a casing cover and a casing upper limiter. VERA additionally could have an expandable material and an uneven surface inert plate. The essential component of VERA is the casing upper limiter, the purpose of which is to hold back the part of the inert plate after the detonation, which makes the inert plate to bend at an angle. Bent back inert plate is breaking kinetic penetrator by its plane into individual elements and affects the trajectory of the kinetic penetrator. If the penetrator is explosively formed penetrator, the inert plate shatters or partially destroys the integrity of the current of the penetrator by its own plane. Such VERA construction protects against kinetic penetrators, explosively formed penetrators and tandem explosively formed penetrators. These VERA are efficient, compact, easy to manufacture and operate.

摘要: Methods and systems for accelerated input data conversion include partially parsing an input data set to convert the data set from a first format to a second format in an intermediate output having at least one unparsed portion to quickly perform a majority of the conversion. The partial parsing operates on portions of the input data set having a size less than a threshold size and leaves portions of the input data having a size greater than the threshold size unparsed. The intermediate output is parsed to convert at least one unparsed portion from the first format to the second format in a final output to complete the conversion such that a combined parsing time of the partial parse of the input data set and the parse of the intermediate output is accelerated relative to a single-stage parsing.

摘要: A computer-implemented method and computing system are provided for failure prediction of a batch of manufactured objects. The method includes classifying, by a processor using a simulation, a set of samples with uniformly distributed parameter values, to generate sample classifications for the batch of manufactured objects. The method further includes determining, by the processor, a centroid of failing ones of the samples in the set, based on the sample classifications. The method also includes generating, by the processor, a new set of samples with a distribution around the centroid of the failing ones of the sample in the set. The method additionally includes populating, by the processor, a nearest neighbor vector space using the new set of samples. The method further includes classifying, by the processor, the new set of samples by performing a nearest neighbor search on the nearest neighbor vector space using a distance metric.

摘要: A robotic picking apparatus, system and method of use thereof. A system comprising: a plurality of robotic picking apparatuses configured to pick an item from a container and place the item in a different place, wherein each robotic picking apparatus is configured to operate in one of at least three operational modes: an autonomous mode, a human-assisted mode, and a remote-controlled mode, wherein in the autonomous mode, the robotic picking apparatus operates without human input, wherein in the human-assisted mode, an operation plan is determined using human input and the operation plan is executed automatically without additional input from a human, wherein in the remote-controlled mode, movements of the robotic picking apparatus are controlled directly by a remote human user. Human users located at one or more remote sites provide the human input.

摘要: A method for fabricating a stacked device structure includes preparing plural device layers each having a glass layer, a metal layer, and a resin layer. The metal layer corresponds to one of plural metal layers. The method further includes stacking the plural device layers to compose stacked device layers; and drilling vertically a hole into the stacked device layers by laser such that the plural metal layers are exposed to the hole and filling conductive material into the hole to connect the plural metal layers.

摘要: A method is presented for forming a self-aligned middle-of-the-line (MOL) contact. The method includes forming a fin structure over a substrate, depositing and etching a first set of dielectric layers over the fin structure, etching the fin structure to form a sacrificial fin and a plurality of active fins, depositing a work function metal layer over the plurality of active fins, depositing an inter-layer dielectric (ILD) and a second set of dielectric layers. The method further includes etching the second set of dielectric layers and the ILD to form a first via portion and to expose a top surface of the sacrificial fin, removing the sacrificial fin to form a second via portion, and filling the first and second via portions with a conductive material to form the MOL contact in the first via portion and a contact landing in the second via portion.
