Abstract:
An apparatus for increasing a digital camera image capture rate comprises an imaging device for capturing raw image data, a frame buffer for receiving the image data, a first RAM spooler for transferring the raw image data to a RAM disk, a first flash spooler for transferring the raw image data from the RAM disk to a flash memory, an image processor for processing and compressing the raw data, a second RAM spooler for storing the compressed image data into the RAM disk, and a second flash spooler for transferring the compressed image data from the RAM disk to the flash memory.
Abstract:
Provided are compounds of Formula (I) or of Formula (II) that are modulators of CCR9 receptor activity, compositions containing the compounds and methods of use of the compounds and compositions. In certain embodiments, provided are methods for treating or amelioratin diseases associated with modulation of CCR9 receptor activity.
Abstract:
A home relationship is established between a device and a network by storing an ownership record in the device that identifies the network, and storing in the network a device identifier that identifies the device. Thereafter, communication is established between the device and the network. The ownership record is then transmitted from the network to the device, and automatic access to the device is granted to the network once the device verifies the transmitted ownership record against the ownership record stored in the device. In addition, the device identifier is transmitted from the device to the network, and automatic access to the network is granted to the device once the network verifies the transmitted device identifier against the device identifier stored in the network.
Abstract:
Method, system and means are provided for simultaneous activation/deactivation of a set of tasks by a processor, each of the tasks normally executed in a sequential fashion by one or more processors. A list of tasks to be activated/deactivated is stored, including the timing relationship for the activation process. The list is then implemented as frame numbers for activation and requested state in the actual task list. The executing processor compares the requested state to the actual state for each task, and if different, compares the value of the activation frame with the current frame. If the current frame equals or exceeds the activation frame, then the requested active state is transferred to the actual state.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for establishing a location for a digital image without the use of a GPS unit. Aspects of the invention include broadcasting over a network a location identifier (ID) identifying a location of the network; detecting the location ID by a digital image capture device coupled to the network; and in response to the image capture device capturing a digital image when in communication with the network, associating the location ID with the digital image.
Abstract:
A high strength window for a radiation detection system includes a plurality of intersecting ribs defining a grid having openings therein with tops of the ribs terminate substantially in a common plane. The intersecting ribs are oriented non-perpendicularly with respect to each other and define non-rectangular openings. The window also includes a support frame around a perimeter of the plurality of intersecting ribs, and a film disposed over and spanning the plurality of intersecting ribs and openings. The film is configured to pass radiation therethrough. An associated radiation detection system includes a sensor disposed behind the window. The sensor is configured to detect radiation passing through the high strength window.

Abstract:
A system and method for reducing storage and transmission bandwidth requirements of a portable image capture device capable of establishing a communications connection on a network are disclosed. The method includes assigning an image identifier to captured images uploaded to a server on a network, wherein each of the images is stored in an image file having a particular size. The size of each of the image files corresponding to the uploaded images on the image capture device may then be reduced, thereby reducing storage requirements. In response to a user request to apply an action to one of the uploaded images, only the image identifier of the image and the requested action are transmitted to the server, thereby eliminating the need to retransmit the image and reducing transmission bandwidth requirements.
Abstract:
A method and system for integrating web photo-services for a browser-enabled device is disclosed. The method and system include providing a server that communicates with a browser-enabled device over a network. Further, an image-related web application is provided to the device over the network, the web application executable on the device. The web application receives a list of images stored on the device from the device and a list of images stored at a remote location from the server. The method and system further include providing, by the web application, content combining the lists of images received from the device and the server, wherein the content is presentable on the device and includes an image reference for each image included in the combined lists of images and an indication of whether each image is stored on the device or at the remote location.
