摘要: A process for producing purified terephthalic acid capable of controlling the transmittance of the purified terephthalic acid product promptly in a simple procedure without necessitating to alter the condition of the oxidation of paraxylene to thereby permit a minute control of the process and to allow to obtain a purified terephthalic acid product with a low and constant impurity level within a certain range, which process comprises hydrogenating a crude terephthalic acid resulting from a liquid phase oxidation of paraxylene in a hydrogenation reactor 6 in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, followed by precipitation of the crystals 8, a solid/liquid separation 11, re-slurrying 14 of the separated crystals in water and a further solid/liquid separation 16, to obtain a purified terephthalic acid; observing the transmittance of the resulting purified terephthalic acid; and controlling the temperature of the washing water so as to maintain the observed transmittance within a predetermined range.

摘要: A wire harness having of electrical wires, a first resin sheet and a second resin sheet. The first resin sheet includes a recess formed so as to extend along a predetermined "three-dimensional" wiring route of the electrical wires. In order to manufacture the wire harness, at first, the recess is formed in the first resin sheet. Then, the electrical wires are arranged in the recess. Next, the second resin sheet is arranged on the first resin sheet so as to cover the recess and air contained in a space defined between the first resin sheet and the second resin sheet is sucked to the outside. Finally, the first resin sheet and the second resin sheet are joined to each other. Owing to the provision of the three-dimensional recess, it is possible to realize the wire harness having a three-dimensional configuration which follows the path actual wiring route of the electrical wires, so that the ease of assembly can be improved.

摘要: A waterproof case for a switch that prevents the invasion of water drops inside the case of the switch. The waterproof case is comprised of an upper case 1 having holes 1g and 1h on a side thereof, and a lower case 25 having projected portions 25a and 25b on a side thereof that fit into the holes 1g and 1h on the side of the upper case 1. The upper case 1 has ribs 1i and 1j surrounding the holes 1g and 1h that guide water drops, which flow from the upper portion to the side of the upper case 1, in the downward direction. Thus, a waterproof case is provided that has ribs surrounding the holes on the side of the upper case so that the ribs 1i and 1j prevent water drops from entering into the case through the holes 1g and 1h.

摘要: Disclosed is an aseismic support structure having one end secured to a fixed floor and another end connected to a subject structure placed on a floating floor. The aseismic support structure includes a toggle bar, an attachment section and a mounting section. The toggle bar has a universal joint at each end and is adjustable in its length to have a predetermined length. The universal joints are rotatable around axes in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively. The attachment section is connected to the toggle bar through one of the universal joints, and has at another end a third universal joint comprising a vertical rotation section. A cantilever extends substantially parallel to the fixed floor, is connected to the attachment section by the third universal joint at one end and has a fourth universal joint at another end. The mounting section is connected to the cantilever by the fourth universal joint and secures the equipment.

摘要: A device for recording and/or reproducing or transmitting and/or receiving compressed data includes decoding circuits 31 to 33 for performing expansion during the compression process is disclosed. An error produced during the compression process is calculated by an input/output error calculating circuit 41 from the input data and data compressed by adaptive bit allocation encoding circuits 22 to 24 and expanded by the decoding circuits 31 to 33, and bit allocation is again calculated on the basis of the error produced during the compression process, with the input data remaining as it is. The bit allocation re-calculated in this manner is quantized by the encoding circuits 22 to 24. Besides, data annulling the error produced during the compression process is formulated by the input/output error calculating circuit 41 and summed to the input signals for subsequent quantization. Compressed signals suited to the input signals may be obtained even if the model for the auditory sense or constants occasionally employed are not suited to the input signals, or if the input signals are unanticipated signals.

摘要: A pickup apparatus of an optical card has an improved data transfer efficiency and miniaturization and thin shape of the apparatus can be realized. The length of a line segment connecting a center of an objective lens provided in a rotational optical unit and a center of a rotary drum is set to a length specified by a length in the major side direction on a recording surface of the optical card and (1+cos.theta./2). An optical pickup apparatus has: a fixed optical unit SOP; a rotary drum in reflecting mirrors for guiding a light beam B emitted from the fixed optical unit SOP to a recording surface of an optical card and an objective lens are mounted; and a rotational optical unit ROP having a rotary motor for rotating the rotary drum, wherein information is recorded and reproduced to and from the recording surface of the optical card. A length of a line segment connecting the center of the objective lens and the center of rotation of the rotary drum is decided on the basis of a length in the major side direction on the recording surface of the optical card and (1+cos.theta./2).
