摘要: In a system with a spread spectrum transmitter and receiver employing composite spreading codes, the transmitter spreads, in a spreading part, a baseband modulated signal by a short code from a short code generator and a long code from a long code generator with a longer chip period than that of the short code and then transmits the spread baseband modulated signal. The receiver despreads a spread baseband received signal in a receiving part by a pair of short and long codes in one despreading part to obtain a baseband modulated signal of a direct path and despreads the spread baseband received signal by the pair of short and long codes delayed by a multipath delay time difference in the other despreading part to obtain a baseband modulated signal of a delayed path, and the baseband modulated signals thus obtained are diversity-detected to obtain a detected baseband signal.

摘要: In a power steering apparatus having a control valve with a first control valve portion and a second control valve portion to enhance rigidity of a steering operation, an amount of an overlapping portion of an overlap variable orifice is designed larger than an amount of an unlapping portion of an untapped variable orifice in the control valve because of dispersion during manufacture. When the overlap variable orifice finishes overlapping, the unlapped variable orifice has already started unlapping. Therefore, since the overlap variable orifice and the unlapped variable orifice never become unlapping form simultaneously regardless of the dispersion, the control valve is capable of minimizing a difference of the flow between a plurality of the second control valve portion. As a result, the power steering apparatus relative to the invention prevents enlargement of noise caused by an unbalance of the flow between a plurality of the second control valve portions in the control valve.

In a semiconductor device which comprises a plurality of cells each having a semiconductor layer between a pair of conductors, at least one of the pair of conductors is made of a metal, and the semiconductor layer comprises an amorphous silicon that can form a silicide region with the metal as reacting at a reaction rate of not less than 10 m/sec. Another device is characterized in that the semiconductor layer is an amorphous silicon, in that at least one of the pair of conductors is made of a metal silicide-reacting with the amorphous silicon, and in that the silicide region formed is conic. Another device is characterized in that the semiconductor layer is an amorphous silicon, in that at least one of the pair of conductors is formed of a metal silicide-reacting with the amorphous silicon, and in that a film-formed surface is produced without being exposed to an oxide atmosphere, between a step of forming the amorphus silicon and a step of forming the metal.

摘要: A wire harness having of electrical wires, a first resin sheet and a second resin sheet. The first resin sheet includes a recess formed so as to extend along a predetermined "three-dimensional" wiring route of the electrical wires. In order to manufacture the wire harness, at first, the recess is formed in the first resin sheet. Then, the electrical wires are arranged in the recess. Next, the second resin sheet is arranged on the first resin sheet so as to cover the recess and air contained in a space defined between the first resin sheet and the second resin sheet is sucked to the outside. Finally, the first resin sheet and the second resin sheet are joined to each other. Owing to the provision of the three-dimensional recess, it is possible to realize the wire harness having a three-dimensional configuration which follows the path actual wiring route of the electrical wires, so that the ease of assembly can be improved.

摘要: A waterproof case for a switch that prevents the invasion of water drops inside the case of the switch. The waterproof case is comprised of an upper case 1 having holes 1g and 1h on a side thereof, and a lower case 25 having projected portions 25a and 25b on a side thereof that fit into the holes 1g and 1h on the side of the upper case 1. The upper case 1 has ribs 1i and 1j surrounding the holes 1g and 1h that guide water drops, which flow from the upper portion to the side of the upper case 1, in the downward direction. Thus, a waterproof case is provided that has ribs surrounding the holes on the side of the upper case so that the ribs 1i and 1j prevent water drops from entering into the case through the holes 1g and 1h.

摘要: Disclosed is an aseismic support structure having one end secured to a fixed floor and another end connected to a subject structure placed on a floating floor. The aseismic support structure includes a toggle bar, an attachment section and a mounting section. The toggle bar has a universal joint at each end and is adjustable in its length to have a predetermined length. The universal joints are rotatable around axes in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively. The attachment section is connected to the toggle bar through one of the universal joints, and has at another end a third universal joint comprising a vertical rotation section. A cantilever extends substantially parallel to the fixed floor, is connected to the attachment section by the third universal joint at one end and has a fourth universal joint at another end. The mounting section is connected to the cantilever by the fourth universal joint and secures the equipment.
