Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for performing a cooperative operation between heterogeneous networks and a device for same. A method for a first type base station to perform a cooperative operation between heterogeneous networks in a wireless communication system includes receiving a downlink synchronization channel from at least one second type base station; obtaining an identifier (ID) of the second type base station by using the received downlink synchronization channel; and transmitting at least one of a channel number and a bandwidth of a center frequency of the first type base station and the cell ID of the second type base station to a server. The first type base station and the second type base station use different wireless communication methods or wireless access methods.

The method can comprises the steps of: transmitting, by the radio access device, a request message to the MME; and receiving a response message from the MME.
Abstract:
A method for configuring an interface with APs of a second radio access technology (RAT) by an entity of a first RAT in a mobile communication system supporting multiple RAT according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: transmitting a first message including a list of entity zones covered by the entity among a plurality of geographical zones; receiving a second message including a list of AP zones covered by the APs of the second RAT among the plurality of geographical zones in response to the first message; and configuring an interface with at least one AP among the APs of the second RAT on the basis of the list of AP zones.
Abstract:
A method for scanning for a base station (BS) of a second radio access technology (RAT) by a user equipment (UE) connected to a first RAT in a multi-RAT environment includes receiving information about one or more BSs of the second RAT adjacent to the UE, from an interworking entity (IWE) of the first RAT which manages interworking between the first RAT and the second RAT, and transmitting an awake request message to a specific BS among the BSs of the second RAT in a listening interval of the specific BS to which the UE desires to access, if a status of the specific BS is an idle mode, wherein listening interval information is included in the received information about the BSs of the second RAT.
Abstract:
Disclosed are: a terminal for selecting RRUs of which a connection state with the terminal is a critical value or more from among a plurality of RRUs on the basis of down signals received from the RRUs, transmitting an RRU list including information on the selected RRUs and a random access preamble to an RRU having the best connection state with the terminal among the selected RRUs, receiving an access information response message indicating a preferred RRU with which a random access is to be performed by the terminal from any one RRU among the selected RRUs and performing a random access process with the preferred RRU; and a method for performing random access by the terminal.
Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and a method for allocating resources in a wireless communication system. In particular, the present invention includes the feature of alternately allocating resources for D2D communication and resources for cellular communication, or allocating resources of a D2D link to not be adjacent to each other. In addition, the present invention prevents interference with the cellular communication and interference with other D2D links by allocating a partial area of the resources allocated for the D2D communication to an area for transmitting a D2D uplink symbol to an eNB, or by adding a GP symbol to a partial area of the resources for the D2D communication. Furthermore, in the case of applying a TDD scheme, the present invention prevents interference with symbols for performing the cellular communication by defining a partial section of a special subframe as a section for transmitting the D2D uplink symbol, or by reflecting a time delay of N OFDM symbol durations. Accordingly, the present invention prevents the D2D communication from causing interference.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for determining an energy-saving (ES) compensation cell in a wireless access system comprises: a step of transmitting an ES compensation candidate request message to confirm whether the ES compensation state can be changed from a first base station to a second base station; a step of receiving, from the second base station, an ES compensation candidate response message for indicating the switch to the ES compensation state; a step of receiving, from the second base station, an ES candidate cell indicator message including an ES state cell list for indicating third base stations to be additionally switched to the ES state; and a step of determining the ES compensation cell on the basis of the ES compensation candidate response message and the cell list.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for routing data in a wireless communication system is provided. In trusted non-3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access, a wireless local area network (WLAN) access gateway receives parameters, which includes 3GPP core network load information and a core network routing rule, from an entity of a 3GPP system, and routes received UL data based on the received parameters through at least one of the 3GPP system and a non-3GPP system. In un-trusted non-3GPP access, an evolved packet data gateway (ePDG) receives parameters, which includes 3GPP core network load information and a core network routing rule, from an entity of a 3GPP system, and routes received UL data based on the received parameters through at least one of the 3GPP system and a non-3GPP system.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for acquiring information on an access point (AP) in a wireless communication system is provided. An AP information management entity of a cellular system transmits a request for information on an AP, which is located within coverage of an eNodeB (eNB), to an AP server which is located outside of the cellular system, and receives a response, which includes a result code of the request, from the AP server. The AP information management entity is one of an eNB, mobility management entity (MME), or a new entity of the cellular system.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling beacon transmission in a wireless communication system. A cellular node may control beacon transmission of an access point (AP) in an infrastructure basic service set (BSS). The cellular node may adjust an beacon interval of a plurality of APs and a start point of the beacon interval of the plurality of APs so that beacon transmissions of the plurality of APs do not overlap each other. Or, a cellular node may control beacon transmission of a general device in an independent BSS.
