The PPDU is transmitted to the plurality of receivers through a plurality of subchannels. The signal field includes stream information and subchannel information. The stream information indicates at least one of the plurality of data streams assigned to each of the plurality of receivers. The subchannel information indicates at least one of the plurality of subchannels through which a corresponding data steam assigned to each of the plurality of receivers is transmitted.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, provides a method and device for transmitting/receiving a frame in accordance with the bandwidth thereof in a WLAN system. The method whereby a station (STA) performs virtual carrier sensing (VCS) in a WLAN system according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: receiving a frame by the STA; determining by the STA, a VCS time length value on the basis of the response indication parameter and/or channel bandwidth type of the frame; and deferring channel access by the STA for the VCS time length value.
Abstract:

A method for encrypting a MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system includes: constructing, by a first station (STA), Additional Authentication Data (AAD) including a Frame Control (FC) field, an Address 1 (A1) field, an Address 2 (A2) field, and a Sequence Control (SC) field; and transmitting a frame including an encrypted MPDU including the AAD from the first STA to a second STA. The FC field, the A1 field, the A2 field, and the SC field of the AAD are constructed on the basis of an FC field, an A1 field, an A2 field, and an SC field of a short MAC header of the MPDU, and one of the A1 field and the A2 field of the AAD includes an associated identifier (AID) value according to whether a transmission direction of the frame is an uplink (UL) or downlink (DL) direction.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method and apparatus for multicasting/broadcasting in a relay network of a wireless LAN system. A method by which a relay entity delivers a multicast/broadcast frame in a wireless LAN system, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, includes the steps of: receiving a multicast/broadcast frame from an STA; and delivering the multicast/broadcast frame to a root access point (AP). The multicast/broadcast frame may be transmitted by the root AP in a broadcast scheme within a basic service set (BSS). In the multicast/broadcast frame transmitted in the broadcast scheme by the root AP, an address 1 (A1) field may be set to a multicast/broadcast address, an Address 2 (A2) field may be set to a medium access control (MAC) address of the root AP, and an Address 3 (A3) field may be set as a MAC address of the STA, which is a source address of the multicast/broadcast frame.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for transmitting/receiving information related to an association identification (AID) in a wireless communication system, the transmitting/receiving method comprising: a step in which a second STA having a direct link to a first STA receives an announcement frame related to an updated AID from the first STA; and a step in which the second STA transmits an ACK frame in response to the announcement frame, wherein the announcement frame comprises one or more AID-MAC address pairs and the second STA updates the AID of an STA corresponding to the one or more AID-MAC address pairs.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for maintaining association in a WLAN system are disclosed. The method for performing association by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system includes: transmitting an association request frame from the station (STA) to an access point (AP); and receiving an association response frame from the access point (AP) in response to the association request frame. If the association request is accepted by the access point (AP), the association response frame includes information regarding an association comeback time.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically, disclosed are a method and an apparatus for accessing a channel in a WLAN system. The method for accessing a channel from a station (STA) in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving from an access point (AP) a first frame including a traffic indication map (TIM) and a restricted access window (RAW) parameter set component; determining a RAW in which channel access of the STA is permitted, on the basis of the RAW parameter set (RPS) component; and transmitting a second frame to the AP from within the RAW that is determined, wherein the RAW includes at least one slot, the RPS component includes at least one RAW allocation field, each of the at least one RAW allocation field includes a RAW duration field and a slot duration field, and wherein an index of a slot which is allocated to the STA can be determined on the basis of an association identifier (AID) of the STA and the number of the slots in the RAW.
