摘要: A connector for a PCB (60) has two fixing members (40). Each fixing member (40) has a main plate (41) configured for mounting to a connector housing (12) and a mounting plate (42) bent from the main plate (41). Each mounting plate (42) has solder entering holes (47) and slits (50) between the solder entering holes (47) at a projecting edge of the mounting plate (42). A force that acts to turn the mounting plates (42) from one end is divided at each slit (50), thereby preventing the mounting plates (42) and the housing (12) from being detached from the PCB (60).

摘要: A female connector (10) has a lever (40) in the form of a single plate. The lever (40) is locked at an initial position by a resilient lock (46) before a connecting operation with a male connector (50). An unlocking rib (55) projects from the ceiling surface of a receptacle (53) of the male housing (50) near one side for canceling the locked state of the resilient lock (46) during the connecting operation. An insertion preventing rib (56) projects from the inner surface of the receptacle (53) at a side opposite the unlocking rib (55), and an escape groove (47) for receiving the insertion preventing rib (56) is formed in the upper surface of the lever (40). Thus, the female connector (10) can be prevented from being inserted in a wrong posture.

摘要: A female housing (20) made of a synthetic resin is formed with cavities (22) for accommodating female terminal fittings (21), and locks (24) engageable with the female terminal fittings (21) to retain them are provided in the cavities (22). Each lock (24) projects from an outer surface (20a, 20b) of the female housing (20) during resilient deformation. A lock arm (40) for holding a mating male connector (M) in a connected state is mounted on the female housing (20). The lock arm (40) is made of metal and includes a press-in portion (42) that can be pressed into press-in grooves (30) of the female housing (20). The lock arm (40) is arranged to face the locks (240) and can be retracted into deformation spaces (330) for the locks (240) during the resilient deformation.

The arm (31) is displaced in unlocking direction by pressing the actuator (32). Two couplings (35) coupled to the female housing (20) are provided at opposite sides of the actuator (32). The couplings (35) are inclined up towards a widthwise middle (32a) of the actuator (32).

摘要: A process for selectively forming a metal barrier layer on a surface of an interconnect of a wiring substrate comprising the steps of abrading the substrate and simultaneously feeding onto the substrate a plating solution having said metal dissolved therein. The abrading step comprises contacting the substrate against an abrasive surface and causing relative linear and/or rotary motion between the abrasive surface and the substrate while the substrate is in contact with the abrasive surface. Growth of the metal barrier layer on a portion of the wiring substrate other than the interconnect layer is suppressed and the metal barrier layer thus formed is thinner, exhibits improved uniformity and superior prevention against Cu diffusion.

摘要: A device for measurement of an odor component in a sample gas prepares many target gases to be actually measured by a plurality of sensors with different response characteristics, each containing the odor component at a different concentration. Detection signals from these sensors are analyzed by a method of multivariate analysis such as the principal component analysis, and the odor component is characterized on the basis of such an analysis. For preparing the target gases, the sample gas containing the odor component is passed through a collector tube containing an adsorbent which adsorbs this odor component at normal and subnormal temperature and desorbs it when heated. After a specified amount of the odor component is adsorbed to the adsorbent, the tube is heated and an inert gas serving as carrier gas is passed through such that the desorbed odor component is carried to the detectors as a target gas. The concentration of the odor component in such a target gas is controlled by the manner of flow of the carrier gas. In order to obtain a dependable result from such an analysis, response characteristics of each of the sensors may be analyzed by examining the relationship between the outputted detection signal and the concentration of the odor component in the target gas. Only those of the sensors which show a monotonically varying or linear response characteristics may be considered trustworthy and only the detection signals from such trustworthy detectors may be used for the analysis.
