In addition, the luminous energy control section may change the ratio among the luminous energy in accordance with a rotation angle by means of receiving a signal indicating a rotation angle of a steering wheel as the vehicle-originated signal.

    摘要: A switching regulator circuit for controlling power supplied to a load, includes: a switching device for repeatedly going on or off to control a voltage or a current applied to the load; a detector for detecting a supply voltage or a supply current supplied to the load; and a controller for controlling a duration ratio of a period in which the switching device is on or off based on the supply voltage or supply current detected by the detector, so as to control a value of the voltage applied to the load. The controller includes: a saw-tooth wave generation unit for charging and discharging a saw-tooth wave generation capacitor grounded at one end so as to change a voltage at another end of the saw-tooth wave generation capacitor to a saw-tooth wave; a charge/discharge controller for changing a ratio of a charge rate and a discharge rate of the saw-tooth wave generation capacitor based on the supply voltage or supply current detected by the detector; and a switching device controller for comparing a voltage value of the saw-tooth wave generation capacitor with a predetermined threshold value and controlling the duration ratio of the period in which the switching device is on or off based on the comparison result.

    摘要: A discharge lamp illumination circuit 1 has a DC-AC conversion circuit 3 which effects AC conversion and boosting upon receipt of a DC input, and a starter circuit 4 for supplying a start-up signal to a discharge lamp. Power output from the DC-AC conversion circuit 3 is controlled by control means 6, thereby controlling illumination of a discharge lamp 10. An AC transformer 7 constituting the DC-AC conversion circuit 3 is provided, and a primary circuit and a secondary circuit, both forming part of the AC transformer 7, are insulated from each other. The start-up signal boosted by the AC transformer 7 is superposed on the AC-converted output, and the resultant signal is supplied to the discharge lamp 10. Thus, the need for a starter transformer specifically designed for startup can be obviated.

    摘要: A discharge lamp illumination circuit 1 has a DC-AC conversion circuit 3, which effects DC-AC conversion and boosting upon receipt of a DC input, and a starter circuit 4. Power output from the DC-AC conversion circuit 3 is controlled by means of control means 6. The DC-AC conversion circuit 3 has an AC conversion transformer 7; a plurality of switching elements 5H and 5L; and a resonance capacitor 8. The switching elements are activated by the control means 6, thereby causing serial resonance between the resonance capacitor 8 and a leakage inductance component of the AC conversion transformer 7, or between the resonance capacitor 8 and an inductance component 9 connected to the resonance capacitor 8. Provided that a resonance frequency achieved during an extinction period of the discharge lamp 10 is denoted as f1, the operating frequency is first regulated to a frequency level deviating from f1 and then gradually reduced so as to approach f1 in connection with a no-load voltage which is applied to the discharge lamp before illuminating.

    摘要: A discharge-lamp illumination circuit has a DC power supply circuit, a DC-AC conversion circuit, and a control circuit for controlling a voltage from the DC power supply circuit. The DC power supply circuit has a transformer and a first switching element connected in series with a primary coil of the transformer. The activation/deactivation of the first switching element is controlled by the control signal from the control circuit. The transformer is equipped with secondary coils equal in number with the discharge lamps. Each secondary coil is equipped with a second switching element whose activation or deactivation is controlled by a signal from the control circuit. The secondary coils provide different voltages by means of control of the second switching elements.
