    摘要: A circuit (400) is described herein for controlling dimming of a lamp (112), the circuit comprising a switching circuit (422) configured to provide a chopped portion of an input AC power signal, a resettable inverting integrator circuit (426) configured to integrate the chopped portion of the input AC power signal such that a rise time of an output of the resettable inverting integrator circuit is proportional to a positive amplitude of the chopped portion of the input AC power signal and a fall time of the output of the resettable integrator is proportional to a negative amplitude of the chopped portion, such that an energy provided to the lamp based on the output of the resettable inverting integrator circuit is substantially equivalent from cycle-to-cycle of said input AC power signal regardless of a change in amplitude of the input AC power signal from cycle-to-cycle.

    摘要: A power supply control device detects current that actually flowed through each load and a duty ratio of the current using a current detection unit and a duty ratio detection unit, and calculates an actual supply power value of each load using a power data calculation unit. A PWM control duty ratio is calculated by a duty ratio correction value calculation unit such that the calculated actual supply power value corresponds to a target power value of each load and it is set as the duty ratio of the PWM control by a PWM duty ratio control unit. Thus, even if resistance characteristics of each load or a wire harness connected to each load are varied by changes over time or environment, the PWM control duty ratio can be corrected according to the varied resistance characteristics, and power of the target power value is supplied to the load.

    摘要: An LED lighting device includes an auxiliary power supply that supplies power to a control circuit of the LED lighting device that receives an input from a terminal of a light-emitting diode (LED) string of the lighting device that has a substantially lower voltage than the line voltage to which the lighting device is connected. The terminal may be within the LED string, or may be an end of the string. A linear regulator may be operated from the voltage drop across a number of the LEDs in the string so that the energy wasted by the auxiliary power supply is minimized. In other designs, the auxiliary power supply may be intermittently connected in series with the LED string only when needed. The intermittent connection can be used to forward bias a portion of the LED string when the voltage supplied to the LED string is low, increasing overall brightness.

The output terminal of the clock generator unit provides the clock signal to the over-current control unit, and the over-current control unit provides a control signal based on the clock signal.

    摘要: A lamp overload detection/modulation circuit including a microcontroller unit for detecting rectangular wave signal reflective of the power used by the lamp load and pulse width signal of AC power. The positive bandwidths of the two signals are compared with a predetermined full-load value. In the case that the positive bandwidths of the two signals are both larger than the full-load value, it is indicated that the lamp load is under an overload condition. Under such circumstance, the microcontroller unit controls a lamp load driving unit to change driving manner and lower the power used by the lamp load to a value within a nominal range. Then the lamp load automatically restores to the full-load state. Accordingly, the lamp is protected from long-term overload condition.
