    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to dynamically triggering aperiodic CSI reporting are disclosed. A UE may determine whether a condition is satisfied for triggering upon receipt of a signal from a BS. The condition may be based on a decoding status of the signal. In some examples, the UE may explicitly request a CSI resource signal (e.g., CSI-RS, CSI-IM, or both) from the BS when the condition is met. The explicit request may be included in a modified ACK/NACK field, regardless of whether an ACK or NACK is transmitted. The BS may respond with a CSI resource signal. In other examples, the BS may wait to respond with a CSI resource signal until a threshold number of requests are received from the UE. In other examples, the BS may track a number of NACKs from the UE instead of relying upon an explicit request.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for cooperative relay in sidelink networks are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a first user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a second UE, a groupcast signal comprising a resource allocation assigned to a plurality of sidelink UEs including the first UE. The example method also includes communicating, with a remote apparatus on a first resource included in the resource allocation, a first relay signal comprising at least a portion of the groupcast signal, in which the first relay signal corresponds to at least a portion of a second relay signal communicated with the remote apparatus on a second resource included in the resource allocation by at least one other sidelink UE of the plurality of sidelink UEs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be receive a grant configuration including multiple set of parameters, and the UE may select a set of parameters from the configured grant based on a channel condition. In some examples, the UE may be configured to signal to a network (e.g., a base station) the selected set of parameters and their corresponding parameter values. For example, the UE may be configured to signal the selected set of parameters over semi-static signaling (e.g., radio resource control (RRC) messaging) or dynamic signaling (e.g., medium access control-control element (MAC-CE) messaging, uplink control information (UCI) messaging, or the like). By configuring the UE with multiple set of parameters, the UE may adapt to changing channel conditions, which may provide higher reliability and lower latency for wireless communications, as well as reduce power consumption for the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may monitor multiple synchronization signal resources, each synchronization signal resource associated with a beam of a set of beams and may determine that multiple candidate beams of the set of beams satisfy a channel quality threshold. The UE may transmit an indication that the multiple candidate beams satisfy the channel quality threshold. For example, the UE may transmit a single random access message on a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource associated with multiple candidate beams, or may transmit multiple random access messages, each one on a different PRACH resource associated with a different candidate beam. The UE may receive an indication of one of the candidate beams from the base station and may establish a connection with the base station using the indicated candidate beam.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability associated with reference signal reporting by the UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, a data packet and an indication of a mode for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback reporting based on the UE capability. The UE may determine that a slot includes first resources for transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS) and second resources for transmitting HARQ feedback for the data packet. The UE may transmit, to the base station during the slot and based on the indication of the mode for HARQ feedback reporting, the HARQ feedback and one or more of the SRS or CSI associated with the HARQ feedback.

    Abstract: In a positioning session for a user equipment (UE), one or more base stations may receive and derive positioning measurements from uplink (UL) transmission from the UE that include a physical resource block (PRB) interlaced waveform based on at least one of interlaced physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource blocks, interlaced physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) RBs resource blocks, interlaced sounding reference signal (SRS), interlaced uplink (UL) positioning reference signal (PRS), or a combination thereof. The interlaced waveforms span a greater wavelength than if interlacing were not used, and an enhanced accuracy requirement for the positioning measurements based on the span may be used for the positioning measurements. The UL interlaced PRBs may be used for UL positioning measurements for combined downlink (DL) and UL positioning measurements. The base station may report the positioning measurements along with the channel used and enhanced accuracy requirements to a location server for positioning.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station using a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration in a component carrier (CC). The UE may transmit an indication of a capability of the UE to operate in a full duplex (e.g., frequency division duplex (FDD)) mode on a single carrier in an unpaired frequency spectrum based on a first BWP configuration. The UE may receive an indication of a second BWP configuration for one or more slots based on transmitting the indication of the capability of the UE, the second BWP configuration including a configuration associated with an uplink BWP and a downlink BWP. The UE and the base station may then communicate according to the second BWP configuration in the one or more slots of the set of slots based on receiving the indication of the second BWP configuration.
