摘要: A sorting apparatus comprises a data memory for storing a plurality of data, each of the data comprising reference data indicating a predetermined reference level, a sorting memory for writing therein data based on the plurality of data and a control unit for sorting the plurality of data in sequence of the reference levels of the plurality of data. The control unit also writes data to the sorting memory so that addresses of the plurality of data are obtained in the sequence of the reference levels of the plurality of data by tracing data written in the sorting memory by repeated reading of data in the sorting memory by a unit in which each data has information about a respective address of a next data to be read.

摘要: A process for producing permanent magnet materials, which comprises the steps of:forming an alloy powder having a mean particle size of 0.3-80 microns and composed of, in atomic percentage, 8-30% R (provided that R is at least one of rare earth elements including Y), 2-28% B, and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities, sintering the formed body at a temperature of 900.degree.-1200.degree. C.,subjecting the sintered body to a primary heat treatment at a temperature of 750.degree.-1000.degree. C.,then cooling the resultant body to a temperature of no higher than 680.degree. C. at a cooling rate of 3.degree.-2000.degree. C./min, andfurther subjecting the thus cooled body to a secondary heat treatment at a temperature of 480.degree.-700.degree. C.35 MGOe, 40 MGOe or higher energy product can be obtained with specific compositions.

摘要: A monitoring system for a serial transmission line which analyzes serial data received from a serial transmission line on the basis of a protocol or a data format for serial transmission and converts the serial data into display data, thereby monitoring the serial data. The system converts all or a portion of the data being displayed in one coding format and displays the fresh display data (for example, data displayed in HEX coding is converted and displayed in ASCII coding).

摘要: A wired commodity vending system which comprises a plurality of slave stations each having an automatic vending machine including an outer door and an inner door and a controller for preparing and storing commodity sales data, and a master station for managing the slave stations to which the slave stations are commonly connected through data transmission lines so that the items of commodity sales data in the respective vending machines are processed by the master station. The wired commodity vending system processes the commodity sales data by specifying the address of the slave station through the master station to provisionally transmit the commodity sales data stored in the slave station from the addressed slave station to the master station according to the address in response to the control data transmitted from the master station to the slave station, re-transmitting the control data from the master station following reception of the commodity sales data, re-transmitting the commodity sales data together with operating status data prepared by the controller to the master station in response to the control data from the addressed slave station which received the control data, and collating and confirming the commodity sales data and control and status data repetitively received at the master station. The first transmitted commodity sales data is one of the number of sold commodities, by type of commodity, and the number of commodities, by type, presently retained in the vending machine, while the second transmitted commodity sales data is both the number of sold commodities, by type, and the number of the commodities, by type, retained at present in the vending machine.

摘要: A spliced portion housing structure for an optical fiber in an optical submerged repeater, characterized in that, in order to splice together in a joint ring an optical fiber and a power-supplying feeder from the optical submerged repeater to an optical fiber and a power-supplying feeder of a tail cable from a cable coupling of an optical submarine cable, respectively, a joint chamber is provided on an end plate of a housing of the optical submerged repeater in such a manner that the end plate forms a part of the joint chamber; the optical fiber and the power-supplying feeder from the submerged repeater are introduced into the joint chamber through a first feedthrough provided in the end plate for hermetically introducing the optical fiber and the power-supplying feeder; the tail cable from the cable coupling is hermetically introduced into the joint chamber through a second feedthrough provided in the wall of the joint chamber so that the tail cable is insulated from the joint chamber, the optical fibers and the feeders pulled into the joint chamber from both of the first and second feedthroughs are respectively spliced together while being isolated from each other and housed in the joint chamber; the optical fiber spliced portion is fixed to a cage mounted in the joint chamber; and the joint chamber is formed to have a water pressure resisting and airtight structure.
