Abstract:
A wiper connector for a motor vehicle intended for the connection and articulation between a wiper arm and a component of a wiper blade is engaged longitudinally from rear to front inside the front end of the arm, which is curved longitudinally towards the rear in the form of a U. The wiper connector includes at least one elastically deformable element for securing the connector in the engaged position inside the front end of the arm and two longitudinal vertical flanks, which are designed to be received between two lateral wings of the blade component. The wiper connector is locked in the engaged position in the arm by a safety fastener mounted so as to be able to move between a closed position, in which it extends with regards to the securing element in order to prevent its elastic deformation, and an open position allowing the disengagement of the connector from the arm.
Abstract:
A rear vision device for a motor vehicle includes a video camera intended to be integrated fixedly at a rear of a motor vehicle, a flap mounted so as to be able to move between a closed position and an open position, in which the said flap is disposed respectively in front of and away from the a lens of the video camera, and drive means able to drive the flap in movement between the closed position and the open position. The flap includes pivoting means defining a pivot axis and allowing passage from one position to another. The flap also includes a curved part and articulation arms. The articulation arms are fixed to the curved part and the pivoting means.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing bent spring rails from an endless spring band. The method is characterized by the following steps: continuous bending of a section of spring band; cutting the bent section of spring band into a spring rail; discontinuous reverse bending to reduce the internal stresses of the bent, cut-to-length spring rail by subjecting the spring rail to at least one reverse bending force and/or heat-treating the cut-to-length spring rails, the heat treatment being a low-temperature treatment in this case, preferably at a temperature of less than 200 *C.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a wiper arm of a wiper device comprising a coupling section for connecting a flat wiper blade, wherein the wiper arm is designed to be U-shaped in cross section at least in part, with a back and two side walls. The invention is characterized in that the coupling section comprises a stand-alone wall section of one side wall which protrudes beyond the back and the other side wall in the longitudinal direction, and a hinge pin attached to this wall section for receiving a connecting section of the wiper blade.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a wiper motor of a wiper device for a motor vehicle windshield. A control unit implements the inventive method and a wiper device for a motor vehicle windshield. The control unit controls an electric motor which powers a wiper blade on a windshield sweeping between two end-of-travel zones. In each end-of-travel zone, there is a software end-of-travel stop which is moved by a predetermined value after each passage on the software stop, the latter always remaining in its test zone, thereby providing self-adaptation of the sweeping limits in time. The invention also enables the detection of the presence of obstacles on the wiper blade path.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a windscreen wiper device comprising an arm (1) mounted in such a way that it can pivot about a first axis (3) on a driver (2) which is rotationally actuated within an angular range by means of the shaft (5) of an axis which is substantially parallel to the first axis (3), comprising means for limiting the extent of pivoting in a direction opposite to a surface that is to be wiped, consisting of an arm part and a driver part which acts as a stop when the arm (1) is pivoted from a specific angle. According to the invention, said driver part is a washer (6) which is mounted on said shaft (5) and is integral with the driver (2) and is provided with a stop means for said arm part.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a windscreen wiper for a motor vehicle, having a windscreen-wiper arm, articulated on a drive head, and of the type in which elastic return means, having a spring attached to the drive head and to a lever mounted pivotally on the drive head, force the arm towards a wiping position, wherein the lever has a longitudinal nose, which extends forwards from a longitudinal front end of the lever opposite to its pivoting rear end, wherein the arm has a crossmember which connects the two lateral wings of the arm and wherein, when the arm is in the wiping position, the nose of the lever extends between the upper web of the arm and the crossmember on which it bears under the action of the spring.
Abstract:
In a screen wiper apparatus for a motor vehicle, a drive shaft is mounted for rotation about its axis in a fixed bearing. The apparatus includes a screen wiper having a drive head which is fixed on the drive spindle by coupling means. Complementary indexing means are provided, for indexing the angular position of the drive head with respect to the drive spindle, in which the drive head includes an element having a form complementary with that of a corresponding indexing element carried by a member which is coupled in rotation to the drive spindle.
Abstract:
A screen wiper for a motor vehicle comprises a casing articulated on a head, which is secured by means of a prefitted nut on to the threaded terminal shank of the wiper drive spindle. The head has an aperture through which the threaded shank passes, and a circular base or washer portion is fixed to the nut. Around the aperture there is arranged a set of upstanding retaining lugs which extend parallel to the axis of the aperture, and which grip the base of the nut in such a way as to retain the nut centered on the aperture, but without preventing it from being able to rotate while being tightened on to the threaded shank.
Abstract:
A motorized reduction gear unit for any purpose having a crank and connecting rod mechanism incorporated in it, but especially for use as a vehicle screen wiper drive unit, comprises a hollow casing having a cover plate, with, within the hollow interior of the casing, a toothed wheel which is rotatable about an axis. The toothed wheel carries a gudgeon pin parallel to the axis of rotation of the toothed wheel but eccentric with respect to the latter. The pin drives a crank and connecting rod system in which the crank and connecting rod are articulated together about a pivot pin, so that continuous rotary motion of the toothed wheel is converted thereby into alternating rotary motion of an output shaft. The cover plate has on its inner face, facing towards the casing, an engagement surface for abutting engagement with the end of the crank in the region of the pivot pin.
