Abstract:
A system for dispensing sprayable material such as paint and other liquefied products. The system includes a dispenser designed to accept a flexible, crushable, container filled with sprayable material and having a valve and spray tip at one end. The container is placed into a slot in the dispenser with the valve on the container secured in the housing of the dispenser. In operation, a plunger that runs lengthwise within the housing of the dispenser exerts force on the bottom of the container crushing it as it is emptied and forcing the sprayable material out through the valve and spray tip.
Abstract:
A mixing and dispensing apparatus having first and second containers. The first container has a main body portion which retains a first substance. A separate compartment is located in the first container and an internal passageway is formed between the main body portion and the compartment. The second container is configured to retain a second substance, and is compressible. The second container has a top end and a closed spout, wherein the closed spout is located in the compartment with the spout extending through the internal passageway into the main body portion of said first container. A release mechanism is formed by a plunger extending within the second container. The plunger has a first end in communication with the top end of the second container, and a second end aligned with the closed spout. The second end opens the closed spout when the second container is compressed to release the second substance into the main body portion of the first container.
Abstract:
A powder delivery device (100) including a piercing device (180) capable of piercing a blister (102) may be used to deliver powder or product from a blister (102) or other container to a user through a nasal adapter (110) and the powder delivery device (100) may be re-used or refilled as desired.
Abstract:
A plug for use in a valve system comprising a generally elongate elastically deformable plug body having a longitudinal axis and a first end and an opposing second end, said body forming a blind hole disposed extending in a longitudinal direction downwards from said first end, a flange juxtaposed with said first end and extending radially outboard, wherein said plug forms at least one orifice at least partially formed in said plug body, whereby said plug is longitudinally elastically elongatable.
Abstract:
A dispenser for a liquid or pulverulent, in particular a pharmaceutical medium with a medium reservoir, is provided for single-handed operation. The dispenser includes a dosing opening and is bounded in some sections by wall sections of flexible design, and by a dimensionally stable holding plate, which is provided as a handle for the application of actuating forces to the medium reservoir.
Abstract:
Foam quality and discharge properties are improved by using a squeeze container to discharge a mixed solution of first and second agents of a two-part hair cosmetic for hair dyeing or bleaching in a foam. A two-part hair cosmetic 1 for hair dyeing or bleaching includes a first agent A1 containing an alkaline agent and a second agent A2 containing hydrogen peroxide and a squeeze container 6 for discharging a mixed solution A3 of the first agent A1 and the second agent A2. The first agent A1 or second agent A2 contains a foaming agent. The mixed solution A3 thereof has a viscosity (25° C.) of from 1 mPa·s to 100 mPa·s. A squeeze foamer 5 of the squeeze container 6 has a gas-liquid mixing chamber 12 for causing the mixed solution to foam, foam homogenizing means 14 for homogenizing foam of the mixed solution which has been made to foam in the gas-liquid mixing chamber 12, and a discharge outlet 17 for discharging the homogenized foam. The ratio between the total volume of the first and second agents and the inner volume of the container body is in the range of from 0.30 to 0.60. The torso cross-section of the container body has a ratio of minor axis to major axis of from 0.5 to 1.0, and an area of from 12 cm2 to 30 cm2.
Abstract:
The application relates to a packaging system for a hair coloring product containing: i) at least one container (102) holding a composition comprising at least one hair colorant, said composition forming or intended to form a hair coloring product; and ii) at least one test device (20) designed to perform a patch test and incorporating a tube (21) delimiting an internal space containing a dose of said composition, the tube incorporating an outlet aperture (29) and being arranged to cause said composition to be expelled from said outlet aperture (29) in response to excess pressure within the internal space of the tube or when the latter is vented via at least one passage separate from the outlet aperture (29).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an airless dispenser which is used to dispense low doses of liquid products. The inventive dispenser is characterised in that it consists of: a first part comprising a spray nozzle which is communicated with a network of channels on the wall of an inner truncated-cone-shaped bore, and a second part comprising a deformable container which equipped with a rigid flange for fixing the first part in the aforementioned bore. The outer periphery of the flange comprises an inclined surface which defines a vortex chamber, opposite the above-mentioned network of channels, and which, together with the wall of the first part, forms an internal peripheral outlet groove. The outlet groove is defined radially by a flexible lip forming an inlet valve which is supported by the first or second part.

Abstract:
A fluid dispenser comprising: a fluid reservoir (12) defining at least one actuating wall (21) suitable for being displaced; a dispensing orifice (41); and spring means (7) suitable for loading the actuating wall into a state in which the volume of the reservoir is at its maximum; said fluid dispenser being characterized in that the spring means (7) co-operate with cocking means (11) suitable for bringing the spring means to a state loading the actuating wall from an initial state in which the spring means do not load the actuating wall.
