Abstract: The present disclosure describes a network device that is capable of coordinating the control of light emitters. For example, the network device may receive data indicating conditions for activating the light emitters. The network device may then receive sensor data generated by various sensors, such as motion sensors, light sensors, or a timer. Using the sensor data, the network device may determine that the conditions are satisfied and, in response, cause the light emitters to activate. To activate first light emitters, the network device may transmit a signal to an electronic device that causes the first light emitters to activate. The first light emitters may be powered by the electronic device. Additionally, to activate second light emitters, the network device may transmit signals to the second light emitters that include commands to activate.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes an electronic device that is capable of coordinating the control of various types of lights. For example, the electronic device may receive data indicating conditions for activating the light emitters. The electronic device may then obtain sensor data generated by various sensors, such as motion sensors, light sensors, or a timer. Using the sensor data, the electronic device may determine that the conditions are satisfied and, in response, cause the light emitters to activate. To activate a first type of light emitters, the electronic device may cause power to be provided to the first type of emitters via connectors. Additionally, to activate additional types of light emitters, the electronic device may transmit signals to the additional types of light emitters that include commands to activate. The additional types of light emitters may be powered by the electronic device or external power sources.

Abstract: Behavior-aware security systems and methods include a plurality of motion sensors deployed at a site, each of the motion sensors configured to generate a motion signal indicative of detected motion within a respective site zone. A server, remotely located from the plurality of motion sensors at the site, has a processor, memory communicatively coupled with the processor and storing a plurality of temporal behavior patterns, and an event analyzer. The event analyzer has machine-readable instructions stored within the memory that, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to: compare a temporal event sequence, defined by a plurality of the motion signals received from at least two of the plurality of motion sensors, to the plurality of temporal behavior patterns, and determine a behavior-awareness state defined by one of the temporal behavior patterns corresponding with the temporal event sequence.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide methods for providing images of a person generated by two or more A/V recording and communication devices to one or more users, via a user's client device. For example, first image data may be received from a first A/V recording and communication device at a first location and second image data may be received from a second A/V recording and communication device at a second location. The first image data and the second image data may be analyzed to determine a person depicted in the first image data and a person depicted in the second image data is the same person. In response, a user alert may be generated including data representative of a first facial image of the person and a second facial image of the person. The user alert may then be transmitted to a user's client device.

Abstract: The present application is directed to creating intrusion zones for security systems. For example, a client device may cause a graphical user interface (GUI) to be displayed on a display, the GUI configured for creating an intrusion zone for an audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device. The GUI may include one or more motion zones associated with a field of view of the A/V recording and communication device. While displaying the GUI, the client device may receive a first input selecting a motion zone from the one or more motion zones, at least a portion of the motion zone being associated with the intrusion zone, a second input for setting a conditional setting for the intrusion zone, and a third input selecting an activation mode of the security system to associate with the intrusion zone. The client device may then transmit, to at least one of a network device and the A/V recording and communication device, a control signal that is configured to cause the at least one of the network device and the A/V recording and communication device to save the intrusion zone.
