Abstract:
Disclosed is an electrode catalyst comprising a ruthenium (Ru)-rhodium (Rh) alloy. A membrane electrode assembly (MEA) comprising the same electrode catalyst and a fuel cell comprising the same membrane electrode assembly are also disclosed. The ruthenium-rhodium alloy catalyst has not only good oxygen reduction activity but also excellent methanol resistance compared to conventional platinum and platinum-based alloy catalysts, and thus can be used as high-quality and high-efficiency electrode catalyst having improved catalytic availability and stability.
Abstract:
Provided herein are methods of preparing conductive particles including hydrophilizing the surface of polymer particles by a low-temperature plasma treatment; and coating the hydrophilized surface of the polymer particles with a conductive metal layer to form the conductive particles. The methods provided herein may provide desirable adhesion between the conductive metal layer and the polymer particles and may minimize the aggregation of the polymer particles during plating. As a result, methods disclosed herein may provide for conductive particles having desirable electrical conductivity and reliability.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling the output of a surveillance image, are discussed. According to an embodiment, the method includes checking whether an event is detected in at least one inputted surveillance image, and composing a display form of an output screen according to a number of surveillance images each having an event detected therein based on the checking result.
Abstract:
A data I/O circuit of a flash memory device includes a page buffer connected to at least one pair of bit lines, a page buffer select circuit arranged to output complementary input data, which is received through a pair of I/O lines, to the page buffer, or outputs complementary sensing data stored in the page buffer to the pair of I/O lines, in response to a buffer select signal, and a column select circuit arranged to output the complementary sensing data, which is received through the pair of I/O lines, to a pair of data I/O nodes, respectively, or to output the complementary input data, which is received through the pair of data I/O nodes, to the pair of I/O lines, in response to a column select signal and a gate control signal.
Abstract:
A stator for use in a motor, being wound with a coil, includes a main body fixed to a inside of the motor; a plurality of teeth formed to be integrated with the main body and respectively wound with the coil; gap reducers, each of which being formed on upper and lower surfaces of each of the teeth and protruding in a direction to decrease gaps between an upper surface of each of the teeth and the coil and between a lower surface of each of the teeth and the coil; and punch damage barriers, each of which having plane surfaces extending to both sides of each of the gap reducers and connected to both sides of each of the teeth. Further, the stator is manufactured by pressing soft magnetic powder.
Abstract:
The present invention is a method and device for closing a passageway in a body, for example a patent foramen ovale (PFO) in a heart, and related methods of using such closure devices for closing the passageway. The closure device includes a closure line having a first and a second end. A first expandable device is connected to the first end of the closure line. A second expandable device is located along the second end of the closure line, and is capable of sliding along the closure line in one direction while preventing sliding movement in the opposite direction. Alternatively the second closure line is fixed along the second end of the closure line.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a delivery system for delivering a device for closing a passageway in a body, for example a patent foramen ovale (PFO) in a heart. The delivery system has an elongate member having a proximal and distal end. A deflectable needle assembly having luminal and abluminal surfaces is slideably engaged within the elongate member. An actuator is slideabley engaged within the elongate member and attached to the needle tip assembly such that translational movement of the actuator causes deflection of the deflectable needle assembly.
Abstract:
A NAND-type flash memory device has a multi-plane structure. Page buffers are divided into even page buffers and odd page buffers and are driven at the same time. Cells connected to even bit lines within one page and cell connected to odd bit lines within one page are programmed, read and copyback programmed at the same time.
Abstract:
A wire bonding machine capable of removing particles from capillary and cleaning method of capillary bottom tip uses a grinding film of the wire bonding machine mounted on a clamp block. The capillary of the wire bonding machine periodically moves on the grinding film and then, the bottom tip of the capillary is rubbed with and moves on the grinding film at a predetermined distance, whereby various particles formed at the bottom tip of the capillary are removed.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes a repair control circuit. Addresses of fail cells to be repaired are programmed into a flash cell box, and the fail cells are repaired using the flash cell box, without using a fuse box. An area occupied by a repair control circuit and an overall chip size can be reduced.
