Abstract:
One or more embodiments provides a precoder selection method for performing hybrid beamforming in a wireless communication system. The method includes selecting a predetermined number of candidate transmit beams using a signal strength received through each of first combinations with receive beams that can be mapped to each transmit beam of each of transmit antennas mounted on a transmitter. The method also includes selecting a precoder using signal strength received through each of second combinations with receive beams that can be mapped to each of the candidate transmit beams.
Abstract:
A method for operating a receiving end in a wireless communication system includes receiving subset information on analog beams of a transmitting end, from a transmitting end, and determining a combination of transmit beams to be used for data signal transmission to the receiving end, on the basis of the subset information, wherein the subset information indicates at least one subset into which the analog beams are classified, and each analog beam of the at least one subset has a correlation equal to or less than a threshold, with one another. An apparatus for a receiving end includes a communication unit configured to receive subset information on analog beams of a transmitting end, from the transmitting end, and a controller configured to determine a combination of transmit beams to be used for data signal transmission to the receiving end, on the basis of the subset information.
Abstract:
A method of programming a nonvolatile memory device including multi-level cells that store multi-bit data, includes performing a pre-programming operation that programs at least some of the multi-level cells to a plurality of intermediate states which are different from an erased state, and performing a main programming operation that programs the multi-level cells to a plurality of target states corresponding to the multi-bit data. At least some of the intermediate program states have threshold voltage distributions that partially overlap each other.
Abstract:
A data transmission method for a base station to acquire transmission beam diversity in a wireless communication system is provided. The data transmission method includes selecting at least two transmission beams to be used for data transmission from among multiple transmission beams corresponding to transmission beam information, if receiving the transmission beam information regarding the multiple transmission beams from a terminal, and transmitting data encoded with a predetermined orthogonalization code to the terminal via the selected at least two transmission beams.
Abstract:
A method of operating a non-volatile memory device includes storing one or more addresses of word lines (WLs), but not the entire addresses of the WLs, into a latch, the WLs disposed between a string selection line (SSL) and a ground selection line (GSL), selecting a first WL from the latch, performing an erasing operation on memory cells associated with the string selection line (SSL), the memory cells associated with the SSL constituting a memory block, and verifying the erasing operation on memory cells associated with the selected first WL.
