摘要： To provide a peptide obtainable by cleaving an N-terminal region and a C-terminal region of Alcadein α, Alcadein β, or Alcadein γ; and capable of being a diagnostic marker for Alzheimer's disease. It is possible to detect Alzheimer's disease at an early stage without burdening subjects to be tested by using the peptide as a diagnostic marker.

摘要： A high-performance exhaust silencer in which a shell wall includes a shell outer plate, a shell inner plate, and a damping material to be inserted therebetween. A space between the shell outer plate and shell inner plate of the exhaust silencer is narrowed and the shell outer plate and the shell inner plate will not interfere with each other. An outer shape of the exhaust silencer is small but the expansion chambers are large by providing an air space between the shell outer plate and the shell inner plate. For the above-mentioned damping material, a material obtained by stretchably weaving metal wire into mesh is used.

The cutting insert made of cubic boron nitride based ultra-high pressure sintered material exhibits, in a structural observation using an electron microscope, a substantial three-phase structure including a continuously bonded phase, a hard dispersed phase, and an intermediate adhesion phase intervening between the continuously bonded phase and the hard dispersed phase, and includes a cubic boron nitride based ultra-high pressure sintered material including: 15 to 56 wt % of at least two components selected from titanium nitride, titanium carbonitride, and titanium carbide, or 15 to 56 wt % titanium carbonitride, for forming the continuously bonded phase; 2 to 10 wt % nitride compound having titanium and aluminum and 2 to 10 wt % tungsten carbide, for forming the intermediate adhesion phase; and (35 to 65 wt %) cubic boron nitride, as the balance, for forming the hard dispersed phase.

摘要： An information processing apparatus is connected to another information processing apparatus via a network and has at least one sub-unit for executing a predetermined function. A reservation is made for causing a tuner sub-unit of an IRD to receive a predetermined channel broadcast at a predetermined time and to record it on a VCR sub-unit of a DVCR via an IEEE-1394 serial data bus. Then, a controller of the IRD writes reservation information into a Resource Schedule Board (RSB) built into a Bulletin Board Subunit (BBS) of the IRD and also writes reservation information of the VCR sub-unit into a RSB built into a BBS of the DVCR. With this arrangement, double-booking is prevented.
