    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a recessed pivot hinge for hingeably fastening a door leaf in a door frame, including



    a pivot;
    a fitting sleeve in which the pivot is fitted in a height-adjustable manner;
    a socket which is fastenable in a recessed manner in the door frame or forms part thereof; and
    a fastening body, to be recessed into the door leaf, for fastening in the door leaf;

    wherein provision is made for an end of the pivot to be drawn into the socket using magnetic elements of the pivot and the socket;

    and where the fitting sleeve is fastened in the fastening body so as to be adjustably displaceable in a first direction (X), transverse to the height direction (Z), and in a second direction (Y), transverse to the first direction (X) and transverse to the height direction (Z).

    Abstract: Vehicle barrier systems that can selectively move a barrier arm between a first position that prevents a vehicle from passing, or a second position that allows the vehicle to pass, wherein the barrier arm moves both upwardly away from a travel path and laterally along the travel path in a direction away from the vehicle. The barrier arm movement thereby leads the driver of the vehicle through the barrier system in a sweeping or leading movement. In some embodiments, an actuator assembly of the barrier system includes a breakaway assembly coupled to the barrier arm. In the event that an abnormal force (e.g. vehicle strike, vandalism, etc.) applied to the barrier arm exceeds a predetermined threshold, one or more drive magnets of the breakaway assembly disengage from the one or more magnetically-attractive elements to prevent damage to the barrier system.

    Abstract: A hinge including: a first leaf assembly accommodating a portion of a first panel having a first cut-out section, the first leaf assembly including a first insert component which is tight fittingly receivable within the first cut-out section; a second leaf assembly, hingedly coupled to the first leaf assembly, for accommodating a portion of a second panel having a second cut-out section; a spring operatively coupled to the first and second leaf assemblies to bias the hinge to move from an open position to a closed position; and a dampener to dampen movement of the hinge from the open position to the closed position, wherein said longitudinal dampener axis is disposed between and substantially parallel with planes defined by respective opposing faces of the first panel.

    Abstract: A vehicle barrier gate system which is positioned above a roadway through which vehicles pass. Some of the various embodiments of the present disclosure include a gate comprised of an arm and barrier which is adjustable between a raised position in which a vehicle may pass and a lowered position in which a vehicle is prevented from passing. The gate may be movably connected to a ceiling or an overhead support structure positioned above the roadway. Various types of actuators may be utilized to adjust the gate along a linear and/or angular path between the raised and lowered positions. A control unit may be in communication with one or more sensors and/or an authorization system to control the actuator. The gate may include a breakaway mechanism which allows the gate to be manually raised or lowered in the event of actuator failure or a vehicle ramming through the gate.

    Abstract: A hinge structure including an axis body, a torque member, and a pressing assembly is provided. The axis body includes a contact surface. The torque member leans against the contact surface of the axis body. The torque member and the axis body are rotatable relatively around a central axis of the axis body. The contact surface pushes the torque member to move around the central axis of the axis body when the torque member and the axis body rotate relatively. The pressing assembly provides a pushing force to the torque member to push the torque member to push towards the contact surface.
