Abstract: A method of controlling the movements of at least one controllable door of a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle component. A control device and a sensor arrangement are assigned to the door, and the door has a controllable motion influencing device. A motion of a door wing of the door can be controlled and influenced by way of the motion influencing device in between a closed position and an open position. The sensor arrangement includes a distance sensor in the movable door wing that captures distance data during the motion, and obtains from the distance data captured with the distance sensor in different angular positions, the position of at least one object in the surrounding area of the door wing, by way of triangulation.

Abstract: A method and an assembly for pivoting a movable component having a drive device with an electric drive motor in order to influence a pivoting of the component between a first setting and a second setting. A position sensor detects a position measure for a setting of the component and a speed parameter for a displacement speed of the component. During a displacement of the component with the speed parameter, an electrical setpoint current intensity for the electric drive motor is ascertained, and an associated setpoint voltage is set. The setpoint voltage is increased if a current intensity flowing through the drive motor is lower than the electrical setpoint current intensity, and the setpoint voltage is reduced if the current intensity flowing through the drive motor is higher than the electrical setpoint current intensity.

Abstract: A door component for pivoting a movable door of a motor vehicle has a drive with an electric drive motor in order to influence a pivoting of the door between a closed setting and an open setting. A position measure for an angular setting of the door leaf and a speed parameter for an angular speed of the door leaf are detected by a position sensor. During a pivoting of the door leaf with the speed parameter, an electrical setpoint current intensity for the electric drive motor is ascertained, and an associated setpoint voltage is set. Then the current intensity flowing through the drive motor is ascertained. The setpoint voltage is increased if the current intensity is lower than the electrical setpoint current intensity, and the setpoint voltage is decreased if the current intensity is higher than the electrical setpoint current intensity.

The energy absorber includes an absorber cylinder and a piston device with an absorber piston and a piston rod. A first chamber of an absorber chamber is filled with a field-sensitive absorber fluid. The piston has an absorber valve with an absorber duct extending in an axial direction and being subject to a selective field of a field generating device. A ratio of the outer diameter of the piston rod to an outer diameter of the absorber piston is greater than 0.6 and the first chamber extends in a space around the piston rod. During the relative motion of the fastener and the holding device the field-sensitive absorber fluid is urged through the damping duct of the absorber piston.
