    Abstract: A linear compressor includes a frame; an outer stator including a stator core disposed on the frame, a teeth portion extending inward from the stator core, and a teeth shoe extending in a circumferential direction from an inner end of the teeth portion; a coil disposed on the teeth portion; a cylinder disposed on the frame; a piston disposed in the cylinder; an inner stator coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the piston, and reciprocating in an axial direction by electromagnetic interaction with the coil; a magnet disposed on the teeth shoe and facing the inner stator; and a virtual pole disposed on the teeth shoe, disposed in front or behind in an axial direction of the magnet, and facing the inner stator. The outer stator includes a plurality of core plates stacked in the axial direction.

    Abstract: A stator pole for a stator of a transverse flux machine is provided. The stator includes a stator winding arranged in a winding space, and the winding space being formed circumferentially in a circumferential direction in relation to an axis of rotation of a rotor. The stator pole has a body element made of a ferromagnetic material, which has at least one pole head which, in the installation position, may be arranged opposite the one rotor, and a magnetic return path region, which may be arranged facing away from the one rotor, wherein a number of the pole heads of the stator pole correspond to a number of the rotors. The stator pole is configured to occupy only a portion of a circumference of the winding space in the circumferential direction, and the magnetic return path region has a curved shape which adjoins the at least one pole head, as a result of which the magnetic return path region is designed to define the winding space in part transversely to the circumferential direction.

    Abstract: A flux machine has plural coil assemblies and plural magnet sets arranged in mutual close proximity and circularly about a central axis. Either one of the coil assemblies and the magnet sets are supported by at least one axle which is aligned with the central axis, and either one of the coil assemblies and magnet sets executes rotary motion about the central axis when electrical current is present in the coil assemblies. Magnetic flux of the magnet sets is directed axially and radially while machine rotation is orthogonal to the direction of flux. A plurality of magnets in each magnet set are supported by one or another of a plurality of coaxially aligned axles so that the flux machine may operate as an electrical motor, as an electrical generator, or both at the same time.

    Abstract: A stator made from a ribbon of metal having multiple layers of slit metal, and motors made therefrom are described. A ribbon having multiple layers of metal is formed into a stator such as by flattening or pleating the ribbon to form each pole of a stator having a plurality of stator teeth, or poles. The stator formed from the metal ribbon may be configured into any suitable type of motor, such as an axial transverse flu motor. A magnetic flu return may also be made out of metal ribbon.

    Abstract: A transducer contains a rotor, on which permanent magnets are arranged in a concentrically radiant manner, and two stators are provided at both sides of the rotor. The stators are produced from a soft-magnetic material. Each stator contains a first stator section with radially outer supporting bars for first magnetic active faces of the stator being opposite the rotor and a second stator section with radial inner supporting bars for second magnetic active faces of the stators being opposite the rotor. An annular winding groove for receiving a winding is provided between the stator sections. Supporting bars are each arranged in an annular manner and each extend parallel to the rotor axis in the direction of the rotor. The magnetic active faces of the stators are end faces of projections which are uniformly spaced to one another and which protrude from the supporting bars in the direction of the rotor.
