摘要: A flexible printed substrate has a flexible substrate made of a resin insulating material such as polyester resin and a conductive pattern formed thereon. The conductive pattern is composed of conductive powders consisting of palladium-silver alloy powders and a binder made of an organic resin material such as phenol resin. The palladium-silver alloy powders comprises at least 30 wt. % but less than 100 wt. % of palladium and, as the remaining portion, silver. The conductive powders are a mixture of flaky alloy powders and spherical alloy powders, wherein the former is contained in an amount of at least 50 wt. % but not greater than 70 wt. % and the latter is contained as the remaining portion. Both migration and sulfidization of the conductive pattern thus formed are decreased with respect to conventional conductive patterns and inexpensive flexible printed substrates can be provided.

摘要: A movable scroll element for a scroll type compressor is produced by a combination of a mold casting process and a machining process. The mold casting process produces a cast product having an end-plate forming portion, a spiral-member-forming portion and a projecting portion for forming a drive power receiving portion. The cast product has an entire outer faces covered with black scale, and the machining process machines the end-plate-forming portion, a spiral member forming portion, the projecting portion by cutting. Nevertheless, at least an outer circumference of the drive power receiving portion, i.e., a boss portion of the movable scroll element is covered with an outermost layer consisting of black scale. Thus, a sufficient mechanical strength of the movable scroll element is obtained even if the wall thickness of the drive power receiving portion, i.e., the boss portion of the movable scroll element, is reduced.

摘要: Disclosed is a method and a sensing device capable of measuring a predetermined measurement gas component continuously and accurately with good response over a long period of time without being affected by a high oxygen concentration in a measurement gas. The measurement gas is introduced into a first processing zone. A first electrochemical pumping cell is used to lower a partial pressure of oxygen in an atmosphere thereof to a degree sufficient to control a partial pressure of oxygen in a subsequent second processing zone. The gas is introduced into the second processing zone. Oxygen in an atmosphere is pumped out by using a second electrochemical pumping cell so that the partial pressure of oxygen in the atmosphere is controlled to have a low value of partial pressure of oxygen which does not substantially affect measurement of an amount of the measurement gas component. The gas is introduced into a third processing zone. Oxygen produced by reducing or decomposing the measurement gas component is pumped out by using a third electrochemical pumping cell. The amount of the measurement gas component is determined from a detected value of a pumping current flowing through the third electrochemical pumping cell. The amount of the measurement gas component may be also determined by measuring an electromotive force by using an electrochemical sensor cell, in place of the third electrochemical pumping cell.

摘要: A scroll compressor for compressing a gaseous refrigerant including a lubricant in a mist state, having a stationary scroll member and a movable scroll member, which define pump chambers at an outer wall side of the movable scroll member and an inner wall side of the movable scroll member, which chambers are initially opened to an inlet port via a main intake passageway for introducing a gaseous refrigerant into the chambers when they are radially outwardly located. A sub-intake passageway, in which a shaft seal unit is provided, is diverted from the main intake passageway and is opened to the outer wall sided chamber before the chamber is sealingly closed so that a flow of gas, from the inlet port, is introduced into the chamber, the gas is positively fed to the shaft seal unit, and the shaft seal unit is lubricated.

摘要: A large diameter portion of a rotating shaft is supported by an opening in a front housing via a radial bearing. An outer race of the bearing is in contact with an inner, rear surface of the housing as a shoulder portion of the opening. The inner surface is forwardly recessed, so that a small chamber is formed between the housing and the bearing unit. The housing has a stopper projection at a rear end of an opening to which a shaft seal unit is inserted. The projection is axially projected to a faced front surface of the large diameter portion of the shaft, while a seal chamber is formed between the shaft seal unit and the large diameter portion. The seal chamber is in communication with the small chamber. A plurality of circumferentially spaced grooves for holding lubricant are formed at the recessed surface for forming the small chamber.

摘要: A scroll type compressor comprises a fixed scroll having an end plate and a spiral element. The spiral element of the fixed scroll is integrally coupled to the inner wall of a housing. A movable scroll has an end plate and a spiral element, and faces the fixed scroll, with a plurality of fluid pockets formed between the movable scroll and the fixed scroll. When the movable scroll makes an orbital movement around the axis of the rotary shaft, refrigerant gas is led into the fluid pockets from outside the movable scroll. As the fluid pockets move toward the center of the movable scroll the fluid pockets decrease in volume, thereby compressing the refrigerant gas. A suction chamber which receives the refrigerant gas from outside the housing is formed between the movable scroll and the inner wall of the housing. A passage is formed in at least one of the inner wall of the housing, the connecting section and the end plate of the movable scroll. This passage permits the refrigerant gas to flow into the fluid pockets from the suction chamber in order to reduce any difference in pressure of the refrigerant gas in the suction chamber and in the fluid pocket.

In a more specific embodiment, the alloys are of the compositional formula, Fe.sub.v N.sub.w O.sub.x M.sub.y, wherein M represents a member selected from the group consisting of Ta, Nb, Si and mixtures thereof, and v, w, x and y are, respectively, such values by atomic percent that 1.ltoreq.w.ltoreq.20, 1.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.20 and 0.5.ltoreq.y.ltoreq.6 provided that v+w+x+y=100. 摘要: The invention relates to a pressure sensor having a ceramic diaphragm which is exposed at one of opposite surfaces thereof to a measurement fluid in an external space and deformable in response to a pressure of the measurement fluid, and a strain detector for producing an electrical output representative of an amount of deformation of the ceramic diaphragm. The ceramic diaphragm is fixedly supported at an outer portion thereof, so that a central working portion of the diaphragm is deformable in response to the pressure of the measurement fluid applied thereto. The sensor includes a baffling structure disposed adjacent the above-indicated one surface of the ceramic diaphragm. The baffling structure has portions which partially define a chamber to which the above-indicated one surface of the ceramic diaphragm is exposed. The baffling structure has at least one communication hole for communication between the chamber and the external space, such that the central working portion of the ceramic diaphragm is protected against direct exposure to a straightforward flow of the measurement fluid from the external space toward the central working portion of the diaphragm.
