摘要: Provided is a control system (1) for a hybrid vehicle (8) which is configured to directly transmit an output of an internal combustion engine (2) to a driven wheel (17) via a lockup clutch (18) and transmit an output of an electric motor is to the driven wheel by disengaging the lockup clutch depending on an operating state of the vehicle. The control system is configured to activate a warning unit (36, 37) when the oil pressure is below a prescribed oil pressure threshold value and the rotational speed of the engine detected by the rotary encoder is higher than a rotational speed threshold value. The rotational speed threshold value is a first threshold value when the lockup clutch is fully disengaged, and a second threshold value higher than the first threshold value when the lockup clutch is fully engaged, being engaged and being disengaged.

摘要: An offset correction method for an automobile oil pressure sensor determines whether or not an engine start signal is applied. An offset value of the oil pressure sensor installed on an oil pressure line connected to an oil pump is detected within a first preset period after the start signal is applied. An output value of the oil pressure sensor is corrected after the offset value is detected.

摘要: A procedure for startup and shutdown of an internal combustion engine with an electronically-controlled turbocharger (ECT) is disclosed. The startup and shutdown procedures are determined to provide the desired lubrication to engine and ECT components and sufficient cooling of the engine and ECT. In one embodiment, the system includes an electric oil pump that can supply oil to the oil circuit in the engine and ECT independently of an engine-driven mechanical oil pump. In another embodiment, the oil circuit is provided with an oil accumulator to provide oil for cooling after engine rotation has stopped.

摘要: A hydraulic pressure warning system for an internal combustion engine including a hydraulic pressure sensor that is prevented from being influenced by the heat of the engine and by the pulsation of an oil pump. A hydraulic pressure sensor detects hydraulic pressure in a lubricating oil passage of the engine and issues a warning based on hydraulic pressure detected by the hydraulic pressure sensor when the hydraulic pressure drops. The hydraulic pressure sensor is provided on a wall surface of a water jacket of a rear cylinder block so as to project therefrom.

摘要: A state of an oil pressure is determined based on combination of activation of an oil pressure switch and information of the temperature detected by a temperature sensor and an engine speed detected by an engine speed sensor such that determination of the oil-pressure state is conducted from a lower engine-speed range in a case in which the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is relatively low, compared with a case in which the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is relatively high. Accordingly, the oil-pressure state can be properly determined not only in a high engine-speed range but in a low engine-speed range, by utilizing the simple oil pressure switch activated to the conductive state in response to the oil pressure.

摘要: A system, method and apparatus are disclosed for creating a signal that indicates the pressure of the fluid in an engine. A switch or sensor determines whether the actual pressure is greater or less than a threshold pressure. If the actual pressure is less than the threshold pressure, a sensed pressure (e.g., the output of a pressure sensor) is used. If the sensed pressure is greater than the threshold pressure, then the output is derived from an estimate of the fluid pressure, where the estimate is based on other operating parameters of the engine. The output signal can be used as an input to a display visible by an operator, controller logs, diagnostic systems, and the like.

摘要: A pressure relief valve for an oil pump of an automotive internal combustion engine. The pressure relief valve comprises a wall defining thereinside a valve accommodating bore. The wall is formed with a plurality of pressure relief holes including first and second pressure relief holes through which oil in the valve accommodating bore is releasable to an outside of the valve accommodating bore. A valve body is provided to be slidably movable in the valve accommodating bore and along the wall under balance between oil pressure acting on the valve body in a first direction and biasing force of a spring acting on the valve body in a second direction opposite to the first direction. In this arrangement, the second pressure relief hole is opened after the first pressure relief hole is opened to have a maximum cross-sectional opening area in a process of movement of the valve body in the first direction along the axis of the valve accommodating bore.
