Abstract: A network cell is connected to a user equipment (UE) that supports an independent measurement gap configuration. The cell establishes a connection to the UE, receives an indication that the UE supports an independent measurement gap configuration for new radio in an unlicensed spectrum (NR-U) and transmits measurement gap configuration information to the UE, wherein the UE configures a measurement gap pattern based on the measurement gap configuration information.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that switches bandwidth parts for a user equipment device and a base station is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device receives an indication to switch to the bandwidth part for the user equipment on the wireless link from the base station. In addition, the device switches to the new bandwidth part for the user equipment. The device further signals that the switching to the new bandwidth part has occurred in a time period smaller than a predefined time period. The deice additionally communicates information on the wireless link using the new bandwidth part.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure enable a user equipment (UE) to performing inter-Radio Access Technology (RAT) measurements. The UE determines whether one or more inter-RAT measurement object (MO) is configured with or without a measurement gap (MG). When the one or more inter-RAT MO is on an NR serving component carrier (CC) with the MG, the UE performs an inter-RAT measurement on the NR serving CC based on whether the MG is fully overlapped or partially overlapped with synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) of a target MO of the one or more inter-RAT MO. When the one or more inter-RAT MO is on the NR serving CC without the MG, the UE performs the inter-RAT measurement on the NR serving CC based on whether a target SSB of the target MO is within or outside an active bandwidth part (BWP) of the NR serving CC.

Abstract: Systems and methods for measuring at and reporting by a target user equipment (UE) of one or more positioning signals sent from one or more assisting UEs to the target UE are disclosed herein.
