    Abstract: Techniques described herein include solutions for adaptively handling transport blocks (TBs) based on current memory backpressure conditions. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) monitors a memory backpressure associated with an application processor of the UE. A baseband processor of the UE may receive a plurality of TBs (e.g., from a base station). Based on the memory backpressure, the UE may choose to only decode TBs having certain prioritized data types, and drop or ignore the remaining TBs. For example, the UE may drop certain low priority TBs destined for the application processor, which alleviates the memory backpressure by allowing the application processor to process piled up TBs causing the memory backpressure. In addition, this frees memory in the baseband processor, allowing the UE to handle high priority TBs used for essential functions (e.g., connection and synchronization with the network) in high memory backpressure scenarios.

    Abstract: A client device in a wireless network accesses a queue comprising Transmission Control Protocol Acknowledgement (TCP ACK) packets. At least some packets include packet descriptors with a flow identifier indicating a corresponding TCP flow, and a TCP ACK Generation Count. The device inspects a packet descriptor of a first TCP ACK packet, and identifies a first flow identifier and a first TCP ACK Generation Count. The device accesses entries in a data structure that each includes a first field and a second field respectively storing a flow identifier and a TCP ACK Generation Count. The device determines that a condition is satisfied, comprising that an entry in the data structure includes a flow identifier and a TCP ACK Generation Count matching the first flow identifier and the first TCP ACK Generation Count, respectively. In response to the determination, the device marks the first TCP ACK packet to be dropped.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for performing conditional handover candidate cell selection in a wireless communication system. A wireless device and a cellular base station may establish a wireless link. The wireless device may receive conditional handover configuration information. The conditional handover configuration information may indicate one or more conditions for performing handover and cell candidates for the conditional handover. The wireless device may determine that multiple cell candidates meet the conditions for performing handover. A cell candidate to which to perform handover may be selected based at least in part on one or more wireless device conditions. The wireless device may perform handover to the selected cell candidate.
