    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to data communication methods and apparatuses. The data communication One example method includes when receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), obtaining, by a network node, a basic service set (BSS) identifier in the PPDU. If the BSS identifier in the PPDU is different from a first BSS identifier and same as a second BSS identifier, the network node determines whether the PPDU meets a preset spatial reuse condition, where the first BSS identifier is an identifier of a first BSS to which the network node belongs, the second BSS identifier is an identifier of an extended BSS to which a target relay belongs, and the target relay and the network node belong to the first BSS. If the PPDU meets the preset spatial reuse condition, the network node contends for an access channel, and communicates with a station other than the target relay in the first BSS.

    Abstract: This application describes resource unit indication methods, access points, and stations. In an example method, a resource unit allocation subfield in a trigger frame includes a frequency band range indication and a resource unit indication. The resource unit indication is used to indicate a multi-resource unit (MRU) allocated to a station. The frequency band range indication is used to indicate a frequency band range in which a resource unit (RU) in the MRU is located. For example, the frequency band range indication is used to indicate 80 MHz in which a smallest RU in the MRU is located.

The first frame includes indication information for indicating padding duration for a channel switch delay in an initial control frame.     Abstract: A convolutional code rate matching method and a communication apparatus are provided. A puncturing pattern of a second codeword at a second code rate is obtained based on a puncturing pattern of a first codeword at a first code rate. A second puncturing location set of the second codeword is a subset of a first puncturing location set of the first codeword. When a transmit device decreases a code rate from the first code rate to the second code rate, a redundant bit is sent at a location of a complementary set of the second puncturing location set relative to the first puncturing location set. Compared with the first puncturing location set, the second puncturing location set may obtain more incremental redundant bits, to decrease a channel encoding rate. This can improve decoding performance of a convolutional code.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular, to individually addressed traffic indication methods and apparatuses applicable to multiple links, for example, in a wireless local area network supporting an 802.11be standard. In an example method, a first access point (AP) of a first access point multi-link device (AP MLD) generates and sends individually addressed traffic indication information. The individually addressed traffic indication information is used to indicate whether a non-AP MLD associated with the first AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic and whether a non-AP MLD associated with a second AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic. The second AP MLD is an AP MLD to which a non-transmitted AP belongs. The non-transmitted AP is in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set in which the first AP is located.
