摘要: The present disclosure describes various aspects of the implementation and design of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) in 5G new radio (NR) applications. Aspects include methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for one or more of multiple PDCCH search spaces, control resource block (CRB), irregular multiple slots or mini-slots grants, or fast control channel signaling for grant-free uplink (UL). For example, different scheduling entities can each have one or two search spaces defined (e.g., common and/or user equipment (UE)-centric search spaces). Also, CRBs can be used as units for PDCCH transmission instead of resource element groups/control channel elements (REGs/CCEs). In addition, irregularities in time domain, frequency domain, or both can be introduced in the granting of resource blocks (RBs) over multiple slots or mini-slots. Moreover, signaling can be used to indicate to a UE configured for grant-free UL the portion of the pool of resources available for grant-free UL.

摘要: Both precoded sounding reference signals (SRS) and unprecoded SRS are transmitted from a UE to an eNB. The UE may transmit both in the same subframe using either TDM or FDM. Or the UE may transmit each in different subframes from each other. The eNB uses some combination of the precoded SRS and the unprecoded SRS in scheduling resources for the UE. The eNB may also provide instruction to the UE for PUSCH precoding for data transmission. The eNB may signal the UE to use the same precoding as for the precoded SRS. The eNB may instead signal the UE to use different precoding by including the precoding information or delta information between the precoding used for the precoded SRS and the selected precoding for the PUSCH data.

In addition, the example data structure may include one or more resource element blocks each comprising one or more resource elements into which a frequency bandwidth is divided within one or both of the two slots, wherein each of the one or more resource element blocks comprises a control channel region or a data channel region. Furthermore, the example data structure may include one or more resource grants, located within one or more control channel regions, for one or more user equipment served by the one or more quick downlink channels.

摘要: Various aspects of utilizing narrowband internet of things (NB IOT) communication are still under development. According to an aspect of the disclosure, the apparatus may be a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication via narrowband internet of things (NB IOT) in an unlicensed spectrum using frequency hopping and digital modulation. The UE performs a synchronization with a base station via at least one of a licensed spectrum or the unlicensed spectrum. The UE communicates with the base station based on the synchronization.

The apparatus may use error correction encoding across multiple TBs. The transmission may be a single cell transmission or a multi-cell transmission.

摘要: The apparatus enables pilot signals, whether single tone or multiple tone, that achieve a very low PAPR. After receiving an allocation for multiple tones, the apparatus determines a pilot signal for transmission. The apparatus may select tones from the allocation for transmission of a pilot signal based on a pilot pattern. The pilot pattern may comprise a tone sequence that identifies a sequences of tones, wherein each tone in the tone sequence of identifies one tone of multiple tones for transmission of a pilot signal during a given pilot symbol period. The pilot signal may also comprise a signal sequence. The apparatus may generate a set of multi-tone modulated pilot sequences, select a pilot sequence based on a cross-correlation property, and transmit a pilot signal using multiple tones of the allocation using the selected pilot sequence.
