    Abstract: A user terminal is disclosed including a transmitter that transmits delivery acknowledgment signals (ACK/NACK) in response to downlink (DL) signals transmitted from a plurality of cells, a receiver that receives information about cells to be scheduled, and a processor that controls transmission of the ACK/NACK based on the information about the cells to be scheduled. Further, a radio base station is disclosed that communicates with a user terminal using a plurality cells, the radio base station including a processor that controls scheduling of downlink (DL) signals transmitted respectively from the plurality of cells; a transmitter that transmits information about cells to be scheduled; and a receiver that receives delivery acknowledgement signals (ACK/NACK) transmitted from the user terminal based on the information about the cells to be scheduled.

    Abstract: The present invention is designed to adequately control UL transmission in cells (for example, unlicensed bands) where listening is executed prior to transmission cell. The present invention provides a transmission section that transmits a UL signal, and a control section that controls the transmission of the UL signal based on a UL transmission command that is reported from a radio base station and based on listening that is executed before the UL signal is transmitted, and, when support is provided to transmit a DL signal and/or a UL signal from the middle of a subframe based on the result of listening, the control section transmits the UL signal in a second period, which is configured a first period after the UL transmission command is received.

    Abstract: The present invention is designed to allow adequate communication even when the number of CCs that can be configured in a user terminal is expanded from that of existing systems and/or when CA is executed using unlicensed CCs. A user terminal communicates with a radio base station by means of carrier aggregation using a plurality of component carriers (CCs), and has a receiving section that receives DL signals transmitted from each CC, a transmission section that transmits UL signals, and a control section that controls transmission operations in the transmission section, and, when a plurality of CCs, including at least a first CC, which corresponds to a primary CC of an existing system, and a third CC, which is different from the first CC and a second CC that corresponds to a secondary CC of the existing system, are configured, the control section applies, to the third CC, UL signal transmission operations that are different from those of the second CC.

    Abstract: The present invention is designed to allow more reliable small cell detection while preventing the increase of power consumption in user terminals. The communication control method of the present invention includes the steps in which a macro base station notifies a user terminal of measurement gap pattern information to represent a repetition period that is the same as the transmission cycle of a detection/measurement signal in small cells and a length of time that is the same as the transmission duration of the detection/measurement signal, and the start offset of the transmission duration, and the user terminal configures measurement gaps of the repetition period and the length of time, by using a start offset that is the same as the start offset.
