Abstract: In an aspect, a network component (e.g., BS, server, etc.) obtains measurement information associated with uplink signal(s) from UE(s), with the uplink signal(s) having reciprocity with one or more downlink beams of wireless node(s) (e.g., TRP, reference UE, etc.). The network component determines (e.g., generates or refines) a measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model based on the measurement information. The network component provides the measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model to a target UE. The target UE receives at least one signal (e.g., PRS) on the one or more downlink beams from the wireless node(s). The target UE processes the at least one signal (e.g., predicts target UE location) based at least in part on the measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A configuration for a reference signal used to determine a non-linear behavior of transmission components at a transmitting device may be determined. The configuration for the reference signal may be determined based on signaling transmitted by the transmitting device, signaling transmitted by a device that receives the reference signal, or both. Additionally, or alternatively, the configuration for the reference signal may be determined based on a configuration of other signals transmitted by the transmitting device prior to or concurrently with the transmission of the reference signal. The determined configuration may be used to generate and transmit the reference signal or to determine a configuration of a received reference signal. In both cases, a non-linear response of transmission components at the transmitting device may be determined based on the reference signal.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for determining a position of a user equipment (UE). A differential round-trip-time (RTT) based positioning procedure is proposed to determine the UE position. In this technique, the UE position is determined based on the differences of the RTTs between the UE and a plurality of base stations. The differential RTT based positioning procedure has much looser inter-gNodeB timing synchronization requirements than the OTDOA technique and also has much looser group delay requirements than traditional RTT procedures.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to considering channel variations for medium sharing in a spatial domain are provided. A first wireless communication device transmits one or more reservation response signals indicating spatial channel information in response to a reservation request for a transmission opportunity (TXOP) in a frequency spectrum. The first wireless communication device receives, from a second wireless communication device, a communication signal from a first spatial subspace during the TXOP based on the reservation request. In one embodiment, the first wireless communication device may repeat a transmission of the reservation response signal after transmitting a portion of the communication signal. In another embodiment, the first wireless communication device may include a channel variation parameter in the reservation response signal.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for generating and decoding orthogonal frequency division (OFDM) waveforms with peak reduction tones (PRTs) designed to reduce PAPR. A base station may explicitly or implicitly identify one or more parameters associated with a user equipment (UE), and may classify the UE into a cluster of UEs based on identifying the one or more parameters. The base station may determine a customized function block based on classifying the UE into the cluster of UEs. For example, the base station may determine the customized function block based on determining whether the cluster of UEs is associated with a pre-trained customized function block. The base station may then transmit the customized function block to the UE. The UE may receive the customized function block and may process one or more signals at the UE based on the received customized function block.

A base station may associate a first port and a second port each with a set of antenna elements based on a first and a second linear precoding vector, where the phases of the ports are coherent. The base station may generate coefficients indicating a first combination and a second combination of a first data set for a first user equipment (UE) and a second data set for a second UE. In some cases, the base station may apply the first linear precoding vector to the first combination, apply the second linear precoding vector to the second combination, and transmit the first combination using a first transmission beam corresponding to the first port and the second combination using a second transmission beam corresponding to the second port to the first and second UEs.

The method generally includes receiving, from a base station, a configuration to be used for compressing one or more measurements corresponding to at least one reference signal using an artificial intelligence (AI) encoder; receiving the at least one reference signal; and transmitting a codeword to the base station, the codeword being associated with a compression of the one or more measurements in accordance with the configuration.
