摘要： A high pressure fuel supply pump comprises a cylinder, the upper part of which is exposed to the outside of a head cover that is a part of the engine housing, and is fixed to the head cover by means of bolts, not shown. The remaining portion of the high pressure fuel supply pump is received in an accommodation hole of the head cover. A pump cam 111 is mounted to a valve camshaft for driving a suction/exhaust valve and drives the high pressure fuel supply pump. The use of an exclusive shaft for pump driving only, a bearing member therefor, and the like is rendered unnecessary, which enables a reduction in the number of parts employed. Further, since the timing with which the pressurized fuel is discharged is controlled through the operation of a solenoid valve, the precision with which fuel injection is controlled is improved.

摘要： A public cordless telephone system which comprises abase unit and a branch unit connected to the base unit through a radio link to be used by many unspecified persons. The public cordless telephone system comprises a base unit connected to a public line network, a charger provided integrally with the base unit or separately therefrom, and at least one branch unit connected with the base unit through the radio link and having a battery as a power source, and removably mounted to the charger for charging the battery when mounted on the charger. The system detects the charge in the battery of the branch unit when the branch unit is mounted to the charger, and inhibits use of the branch unit when the remaining charge is insufficient to make a call. The system further includes a theft detection function that continuously transmits a theft signal from the branch unit until the battery of the branch unit is exhausted.

摘要： A complete-contact type image sensor includes matrix-driven sensor elements arranged on a light transmitting substrate. Both input contact members connected with the sensor elements at their input side and output contact members connected with the sensor elements at their output side are formed at one same side on the light transmitting substrate. 摘要： A passive seat belt system is constructed of a guide rail, a slider movable along the guide rail, a webbing, a drive member for driving the slider, a bushing for connecting the drive member and slider in a state maintained in contact to each other with a gap left between the drive member and guide rail at the position of the bushing and on a side opposite to the slider, and contact members provided on the drive member with the bushing interposed therebetween. The contact members are in contact with the guide rail on a side opposite to the slider. Instead of the bushing and contact members, a cam may be provided between the drive member and slider for causing the slider to move in a direction away from the drive member when the drive member moves in a longitudinal direction.
