摘要: Watercraft automation and aquatic data utilization for aquatic efforts are utilized for updating map data. A GPS mapping computer and a sonar device are in communication. The GPS mapping computer displays aquatic effort data. Current aquatic effort data is obtained on the GPS mapping computer. The GPS mapping computer is updated with the current aquatic effort data. The update includes updating map data with the current position and the current sonar information.

摘要: A marine navigation device comprises a location determining element, a display, a memory element, and a processing element. The location determining element determines a current geolocation of a marine vessel on a first body of water. The display displays a map representation. The memory element stores digital elevation model data and sonar data for a plurality of bodies of water. The processing element is in communication with the memory element and is configured to select the digital elevation model data or the sonar data from the memory element corresponding to the first body of water, calculate contour line data, the contour line data determining a plurality of contour lines, update the contour line data by selectively removing at least a portion of the contour lines, and generate a map representation including contour lines derived from the updated contour line data, and control the display to visually present the map representation.

摘要: A wrist-worn electronic device comprises a housing, a display, a location determining element, a first antenna, and second antenna. The housing includes a lower surface configured to contact a wearer's wrist, an opposing upper surface, and an internal cavity. The display is visible from the upper surface of the housing. The location determining element is configured to process a location signal to determine a current geolocation of the electronic device. The first antenna is positioned on the upper surface of the housing adjacent a perimeter of the display and electrically connected with the second antenna positioned at least partially within the internal cavity. The first antenna and second antenna function in cooperation to receive the location signal from a satellite-based positioning system and communicate the location signal to the location determining element.

摘要: An electronic device for tracking a distance traveled by a user along a course comprises a location determining element, a memory element, and a processing element. The location determining element is configured to receive location signals from a satellite-based positioning system and to determine a current geolocation of the user. The memory element is configured to store geolocations for a start point, an end point, and a plurality of intermediate event points that are passed by the user as he travels along the course, wherein each event point is positioned at a known distance from a stored geolocation such as the start point or another event point. The processing element is configured to determine a measured distance based on the current geolocation of the user and to determine a calibrated distance as a function of the measured distance and the known distances of the event points.
