摘要: A multiple mode fishing lure that includes a main body portion having a waterproof inner capsule, the waterproof inner capsule containing an electronic circuit to produce sounds which mimic bait fish. The electronic circuit includes a controller having pre-recorded bait fish sounds replaceably stored thereon and operationally coupled to a speaker to broadcast the bait fish sounds, a power source for providing power to the components of the electronic circuit, and a plurality of electrodes, wherein each electrode can be actuated, and wherein actuation of at least one of the plurality of electrodes gives an operational result. The multiple mode fishing lure further includes at least one hook coupled to the main body.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for adjusting the buoyancy of a fishing bobber. The method includes providing a buoyant member and a stem guide configured to receive the buoyant member, mounting the buoyant member to the stem guide and cutting the buoyant member. The buoyant member is made of a material capable of being severed by a cutting device and having first length, a lower end, and an upper end. The stem guide receives the buoyant member and a fishing line with fishing tackle. The buoyant member is cut such that the buoyant member has a second length shorter than the first length. The buoyant member is cut to a second length such that the buoyancy of the buoyant member when cut to a second length is enough to oppose the tendency of the stem guide and fishing tackle to submerse the buoyant member such that a top surface of the cut buoyant member is adjacent to the surface of the water when the stem guide, buoyant member, fishing line and any fishing tackle are placed in the water.

摘要: A detection device for detecting a fishing device entering water and a method thereof are provided. The detection device includes a waterproof housing, a circuit board, a capacitive sensing module, and a control unit. The capacitive sensing module and the control unit are disposed on the circuit board. The capacitive sensing module is disposed adjacent to an inside wall surface of the waterproof housing and senses a capacitance value. The control unit receives the capacitance value and when the control unit makes a determination, according to the capacitance value, that the fishing device has entered water, the control unit generates a control signal to activate a to-be-controlled device.

摘要: Systems for deploying and monitoring fishing rigs are described. A jug fishing rig in various embodiments includes a float supporting tackle and a signal assembly. The signal assembly may include a lamp and an accelerometer for detecting movement of the float in response to a fish striking the tackle. When the detected movement exceeds a threshold acceleration, the lamp emits an alert such as a color change. The signal assembly may include a panel of programmable MEMS components, including a microprocessor. The panel may be attached to a disk that fits between the neck of the float and its cap, securely supporting the signal assembly inside the float.

The fastener is configured to selectively couple to the coupler and the fishing line so that the indicator is fixedly positioned relative to a lure that is coupled to an end of the fishing line. The fastener also is configured to decouple from the coupler and the fishing line in the event of a strike on the lure. The coupler is slidably positionable relative to the lure to prevent the indicator from obstructing a guide on a tip of a fishing rod to which the fishing line is coupled as the fishing line is retracted into a reel.

摘要: An automated fish culling system which includes a base station which includes a processor and base station display for displaying information corresponding to a plurality of cull tags, the base station display being communicably coupled to the processor. Each of the plurality of cull tags are configured to be associated with a fish and includes cull tag display for identifying the cull tag. The system further includes a memory for storing data that includes information associated with the fish, the information comprising a fish weight, wherein the processor determines which fish to cull based on at least the fish weight associated with each fish, and indicates which fish to cull via at least the base station display.
