The present invention provides a unique polarizing beam splitter (PBS) that is suitable for use in projection systems and displays. The PBS contains at least one prism having at least one major surface and having a refractive index of at least about 1.6 and a birefringent film disposed on the major surface of the prism. The birefringent film is a multi-layer film having at layers of at least a first material and a second material. After uniaxial stretching, the film exhibits a refractive index difference of less than about 0.15 units in the stretched direction.

This invention is an apparatus for imaging metrology, which in particular embodiments may be integrated with a processor station such that a metrology station is apart from but coupled to a process station. The metrology station is provided with a first imaging camera with a first field of view containing the measurement region. Alternate embodiments include a second imaging camera with a second field of view. Preferred embodiments comprise a broadband ultraviolet light source, although other embodiments may have a visible or near infrared light source of broad or narrow optical bandwidth. Embodiments including a broad bandwidth source typically include a spectrograph, or an imaging spectrograph. Particular embodiments may include curved, reflective optics or a measurement region wetted by a liquid. In a typical embodiment, the metrology station and the measurement region are configured to have 4 degrees of freedom of movement relative to each other.

The invention relates to a pneumatic spring arrangement consisting of at least the following components: pneumatic spring bellows, a pneumatic spring cover, a pneumatic spring piston and a vibration damper having a container pipe and a piston rod. The inventive pneumatic spring arrangement is characterized in that the pneumatic spring piston is provided with an integrated clamping lock which consists of an outer ring body and an inner ring body. The bodies can be plugged into one another. The outer ring body comprises a collar and at least one spring arm which is provided with a barb. The inner ring body comprises an outer ring and an inner ring which are connected to each other in such a way that at least one plug aperture is provided for receiving the barb of the spring arm in a catching manner.

The power adapter comprises a first connector communicatively coupled with a plurality of conductors; a second connector communicatively coupled with two or more of the plurality of conductors; and a shunt communicatively coupled with at least four of the plurality of conductors and configured to provide power to an accessory output in response to the accessory connection being communicatively coupled with an accessory device.
Abstract:
The aspects include browser systems and methods of loading/rendering a webpage by processing the web document (HTML page) in parallel. A scanner process scans the web document, identifies scripts, and initiates the downloading of the scripts. As the scripts are downloaded, an HTML parser generates an identifier for each script and the sends the scripts and associated identifiers to a script engine. The script engine parses, analyzes, compiles, and otherwise prepares the scripts for execution in an order that may be different than the execution order of the scripts.

A hand-operated jigsaw is disclosed. The reciprocating drive mechanism has a reciprocating body which can be put into a reciprocating motion along an axis via an eccentric of an eccentric wheel that can be set in motion by the motor. The eccentric wheel is arranged on a pivot bearing axis. The reciprocating drive mechanism has an additional mass with a mass center of gravity to minimize vibrations. The additional mass is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner with the eccentric wheel on the pivot bearing axis. An eccentric axis of the eccentric lies on a first radial of the pivot bearing axis, which is offset from a second radial in the operating direction of rotation of the eccentric wheel at an angle of between 190° and 270°, which second radial lies between the mass center of gravity of the additional mass and the pivot bearing axis.

A vehicle pane exhibits a heating conductor field with at least one heating conductor and at least one antenna, wherein the at least one antenna is mounted on an area of the vehicle pane that is free with respect to the heating conductor field and wherein the heating conductor field has the basic shape of an essentially angular sector. The vehicle pane can also have bus bars for supplying power to at least one heating conductor, the bus bars being arranged on a common edge of the vehicle pane.
