    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may transmit, to a receiver device, an initial message associated with a communication using a first code rate. The transmitter device may receive, from the receiver device, first feedback information indicating that the communication was not successfully decoded by the receiver device. The transmitter device may transmit, to the receiver device based at least in part on the reception of the first feedback information, one or more retransmissions associated with the communication including a first retransmission, wherein the first retransmission includes a first number of bits to lower an effective code rate of the communication to a second code rate. The transmitter device may receive, from the receiver device, second feedback information indicating that the communication was successfully decoded by the receiver device.     Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes reporting, to a base station, a requested downlink code block mapping, which has a defined duration. The method also includes receiving a first code block from the base station during the defined period of time. The method further includes receiving a second code block from the base station during the period of time. The method further includes decoding the first code block with a first demodulator according to the code block mapping. The method still further includes decoding the second code block with a second demodulator, which is different from the first demodulator, according to the code block mapping.

    Abstract: A base station may receive from a user equipment (UE) a proactive notification that the UE will perform a beam switch from a first UE beam to a second UE beam. In response, the base station may determine a beam switch slot on which the UE will perform the synchronized beam switch, and perform a link transient mitigation operation for communications with the UE after UE beam switch and until updating channel state information associated with a new UE beam. The base station may then receive from the UE channel state information feedback for a channel associated with the second UE beam, and adjust downlink data transmission parameters to be aligned with the second UE beam based on the received channel state information feedback (CSF). The base station may also adjust uplink data transmission parameters based on a sounding reference signal transmitted by the UE over the second UE beam.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to analog-to-digital conversion of an analog signal. The resolution (number of bits) and/or the quantization levels of the analog-to-digital conversion may be configurable. A device may configure its analog-to-digital conversion parameters. For example, a first device may reduce the number of bits for its analog-to-digital converter to reduce power consumption. In this case, the first device may transmit an indication of selected analog-to-digital conversion parameters to a second device that will transmit to the first device. In this way, the second device may take appropriate action, if needed. A device may request another device to use certain analog-to-digital conversion parameters. For example, a first device may determine that a second device should use a larger number of bits for its analog-to-digital conversion process to improve the quality of the communication between the first and second devices.

    Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for communicating information in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) message. A processor of a wireless device may configure a PUCCH message to include an uplink message in a short data field. The processor may send the PUCCH message including the short data field to convey the uplink message to a communication network. In some embodiments, the processor may receive data from a second wireless device in a downlink channel, and may generate an acknowledgement message responsive to the received data. The processor may configure the short data field to include the acknowledgement message, and may send the PUCCH message including the short data field that includes the acknowledgement message to acknowledge the received data.
