    Abstract: A system and method are for managing the energy supplied to a transport vehicle. A first and a second source of energy provide electrical energy to power at least one piece of consumer equipment of the vehicle. An intermediate energy transmission system receives electrical energy provided by at least one of the two sources of energy and transfers it to the at least one piece of consumer equipment. An energy conversion-control system applies, at the input of the intermediate energy transmission system, the electrical energy to be provided, adjusted depending on the operational state of the first source of energy and on an input signal indicative of an operational state of the second source. The first source of energy includes an internal combustion engine connected to a permanent-magnet alternator that is placed between the internal combustion engine and the energy conversion-control system.

    Abstract: A bogie is capable of being moved from a rest configuration to an active configuration in which the bogie carries at least one vertical load. The bogie includes a chassis, at least one pair of wheels, and a shaft extending along an axle axis for each pair of wheels. Each wheel has a wheel hub extending along a hub axis and an axle box attached to the chassis and receiving the associated hub. Each hub is rotatable relative to the associated axle box. For each hub, the hub axis forms a non-zero camber angle with the axle axis of the associated shaft when the bogie is in the rest configuration.

    Abstract: A method is for controlling the occupancy of the seats of one or more vehicle(s) by passengers using a control device for controlling the occupancy of the seats. The vehicle includes a number of seats equipped with a reading light. The control device includes each reading light, a control system for controlling the reading lights and a controller. The method includes an emission of at least one piece of data related to the seat toward an electronic device of a passenger of the vehicle. The piece of data is emitted using a wireless optical communication technique, which is a technique of visible light communication. The emission of the at least one piece of data related to the seat is carried out by the reading light of the seat controlled by the control system.
