Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a constellation symbol that includes indications that each are associated with a respective WTRU of a plurality of WTRUs. The WTRU may determine that a first weight associated with a first indication of the indications is different than a second weight associated with a second indication of the indications. The indications may comprise indications of bits modulated at a multi-user constellation bit division multiple access modulator (MU-CBDMAM).

Abstract: Procedures, methods, architectures, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products are disclosed that may be implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), such as where the WTRU is in an inactive and/or idle (e.g., RRC) state. In one representative method, the WTRU may receive a downlink (DL) small data transmission (SDT) indication with respect to a paging occasion. The WTRU may receive the indicated DL SDT payload which may be multiplexed with a paging record for the paging occasion and/or with one or more configured DL SDT PDSCH resources. Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information for the DL SDT payload may be transmitted using configured PUCCH resources and/or may be multiplexed with a random access channel (RACH) procedure. The DL SDT payload may be received by the WTRU without transitioning to a connected (e.g., RRC) state.

Abstract: Systems and method are specified to improve the reception of UL transmission, for example in power or coverage limited situations. A WTRU may modify procedures to increase the available signal energy for reception at an eNB and/or to make more efficient use of the available signal energy at the receiver for processing UL transmissions. Example methods for increasing UL link coverage may include modifying HARQ timing (e.g., shorter HARQ), using longer TTIs, use of dedicated PUSCH allocations, use of new PUSCH modulations, enhanced reference signal design, UL macro diversity reception for PUSCH, utilizing protocol reduction techniques, ensuring in-order packet delivery, and/or utilizing a configuration for coverage limited/power limited modes of operation. The proposed methods may be applied individually or in any combination.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for random access in multicarrier wireless communications are disclosed. Methods and apparatus are provided for physical random access channel (PRACH) resource signaling, PRACH resource handling, preamble and PRACH resource selection, random access response (RAR) reception, preamble retransmission, and transmission and reception of subsequent messages. A method for maintaining an allowed multicarrier uplink (UL) random access channel (RACH) configuration set by adding an UL carrier to the allowed RACH configuration set provided that a triggering event occurs and performing a random access (RA) procedure using the allowed RACH configuration set. A method for sending data in multicarrier wireless communications by determining a set of available UL carriers and selecting an UL carrier from the set of available UL carriers.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) operating in an “Onboarding Mode” may search for a network broadcasting Onboarding Capability Information (OCT), then register using onboarding credentials and receive SNPN credentials from the network. The UE may then exit onboarding mode, enter Manual Network Selection or Automatic Network Selection mode, and connect to the SNPN. A UE may also receive from a network a list of PLMNs and SNPNs that are equivalent then, when registering, indicate to the network that a requested slice is not associated with the IJE's HPLMN, but is associated with an SNPN. The network may indicate to the UE how the slices of the network map to the slices of the SNPN, and may indicate whether a slice that is offered by the network only partially maps to a slice of the SNPN or HPLMN.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for secure access control in wireless communications are disclosed. In an example, a method includes receiving a broadcast message including system information, identifying a first set of hashed identifiers (IDs) and a first random number based on the system information, and each ID of the first set of hashed IDs is individually hashed using at least the first random number. The method also includes calculating a first hash value for each ID of a second set of IDs using at least the first random number, determining whether at least a hashed ID of the second set of IDs matches a hashed ID of the first set of hashed IDs, and sending a request message based on a determination that at least a hashed ID of the second set of IDs matches a hashed ID of the first set of hashed IDs.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive configuration information indicating a set of physical channel frequency resources. The WTRU may receive indication information indicating an allocation of at least a subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources. Further, the WTRU may determine a time period, and one or more physical channel frequency resources from the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources. The WTRU may transmit data in a physical shared channel transmission using the determined one or more physical shared channel frequency resources during the determined time period. Further, the WTRU may determine a time location for reception of hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information associated with the transmitted data, and the determination of the time location may be based on the subset of the set of physical channel frequency resources. The WTRU may receive the HARQ-ACK information during the determined time location.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed. A method, implemented by a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) may use a first Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) not affected by a disaster condition and a second PLMN affected by a disaster condition. The method may include: receiving from a CAG cell of the first PLMN, broadcast information indicating: (1) that the CAG cell supports disaster inbound roaming (DIR) of WTRUs associated with the second PLMN and (2) that the CAG Cell accepts CAG-supporting disaster inbound roamers; selecting the CAG cell of the first PLMN based on the broadcasted information; and sending a Registration Request message including information indicating a DIR indication and an identifier of the second PLMN. The method may further include receiving new CAG information associated with the first PLMN; and initiating a cell (re)selection procedure using the new CAG information associated with the first PLMN.
