Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. Disclosed are a method for searching for a device and an apparatus therefor. To this end, the method for searching for a device of a first wireless device comprises: transmitting a probe request frame; and receiving a probe response frame from a second wireless device in response to the probe request frame, wherein the probe response frame may contain information on an access point (AP) to which the second wireless device is currently connected.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a channel access method and an apparatus therefor. A channel access method in a wireless LAN includes the steps of determining whether an STA (station) changes a first access category for a probe request frame; and if a first access category is changed to a second access category, performing a back-off process for enabling the STA to transmit the probe request frame based on the second access category, wherein the second access category may have a lower priority than the first access category.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method and apparatus for channel access in a wireless LAN system. To perform the abovementioned technical task, the method for performing channel access by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, may comprise the steps of: deferring, if the channel is in an idle state, the transmission of a first frame until a second frame is detected from another station; and transmitting the first frame when the second frame is detected.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention is a method for session initialization in which a first device for supporting a Wi-Fi direct service initializes a send session with a second device. The method for session initialization comprises the steps of: establishing an application service platform (ASP) session; and initializing the send session using a uniform resource locator (URL) related to a device description, wherein the URL related to the device description is acquired prior to the completion of the establishment of the ASP session.
Abstract:
A method for measuring the indoor position of a UE by a network node according to an embodiment of the present invention may include: receiving, from the UE, measurement information including the intensity of a signal received from an access point (AP) and feedback information including information about a sensor configured to measure movement of the UE and sensor measurement information regarding movement of the UE, measured by the sensor; estimating the position of the UE based on the measurement information and received signal strength (RSS) from the AP, predetermined for each reference point; and calculating the indoor position of the UE by applying the information about the sensor and a sensor correction factor corresponding to the sensor measurement information to the estimated position of the UE.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for measuring the position of a terminal located in indoor using a wireless network is disclosed. The method for measuring a position of a terminal located in indoor using a wireless network includes receiving measurement result information obtained by performing measurement with respect to signals from three or more access points (APs), and calculating the position of the terminal using the measurement result information. The measurement result information includes signal strengths measured with respect to signals from a first band and a second band of each of the three APs.
Abstract:
Proposed is a method and device for generating a user identification model on the basis of wireless sensing in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a user identification apparatus discovers a PED and acquires identification information about the PED. The user identification apparatus collects data and pre-processes the collected data on the basis of the identification information about the PED. The user identification apparatus generates a user identification model by learning the pre-processed data.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for generating an STF signal usable in a wireless LAN system. The STF signal is included in a field used to improve AGC estimation of a MIMO transmission. A portion of the STF signal is used to transmit an uplink, and can be used for uplink MU PPDUs transmitted from a plurality of STAs. The STF signal that is disclosed, for example, is used for a 40 MHz band or an 80 MHz band, is desirably usable for the 40 MHz band, and can be generated based on a sequence in which a predetermined M sequence is repeated. The predetermined M sequence can be a binary sequence of which the length is 15 bits.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting a frame by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system supporting an HE PPDU (high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: setting a first duration field included in an HE-SIG A field; and transmitting a frame including the HE-SIG A field and a MAC header, wherein the first duration field is set to indicate a TXOP (transmission opportunity) value using a smaller number of bits than a second duration field included in the MAC header, and a granularity of a time unit used for indicating the TXOP value in the first duration field is set to be different from a granularity of a time unit used in the second duration field.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for acquiring information of a CHIP device using a GAS in a wireless LAN system in a smart home environment Specifically, a controller obtains first to third identifiers by scanning a quick response (QR) code of a controlee; The controller transmits a GAS initiation request message to the controlee. The controller receives a GAS initiation response message from the controlee. The GAS initiation request message includes first and second identifiers and an encrypted payload. The GAS initiation response message includes a decrypted payload when the first and second identifiers are the same as identifiers of the controlee.
