Abstract:
Disclosed is a wireless communication system and terminal for providing a wireless communication service, and more particularly, a method of effectively perform an operation of MDT (Minimization Driving Test) for a specific area or a specific cell in an Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (E-UMTS) evolved from a UMTS, Long Term Evolution (LTE) System or LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) system.
Abstract:
In an aspect, a method of communication performed by a user equipment (UE) camping on a long term evolution (LTE) cell in a wireless communication system is provided. The method include: receiving a Circuit Switched fallback (CSFB) control message from a network, the CSFB control message comprising prioritization information for CS service; determining whether the CS service is triggered; if it is determined that the CS service is triggered, applying a priority to frequencies of at least one cell in accordance with the priority information; performing a mobility procedure based on the applied priority; performing a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection establishment procedure with a selected inter-RAT cell; and initiating the CS service.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for supporting mobility of a user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method comprises the following steps: receiving Mobility State Estimation (MSE) control information including information for MSE from a network; executing mobility if a mobility condition is satisfied; updating a mobility counter on the basis of the MSE control information; estimating a mobility state of the user equipment on the basis of the updated mobility counter; and scaling a mobility parameter on the basis of the estimated mobility state.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of reporting logged measurements of an user equipment in a wireless communication system is provided. The user equipment in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connected mode receives from a base station a Minimization of Drive Tests (MDT) configuration. The user equipment transitions from the RRC connected mode to an RRC idle mode and logs measurements based on the MDT configuration. The user equipment transmits to the base station a logging indicator indicating an availability of the logged measurement.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting a closed subscriber group (CSG) service is provided. A user equipment determines whether a neighbor cell is a CSG member cell for which a CSG whitelist includes a CSG identity of the neighbor cell and PLMN identities of the neighbor cell. The user equipment sends a CSG membership indicator indicating whether the neighbor cell is the CSG member cell.
Abstract:
The present specification proposes a technique for controlling a deactivation timer of a cell. Specifically, the present specification proposes a method for controlling a deactivation timer of a cell in a mobile communication system. The method comprises the steps of: configuring a primary cell and at least one secondary cell on user equipment (UE); receiving, from the UE, an indicator related to a deactivation timer for one secondary cell from among one or more secondary cells; and disabling, on the UE, the deactivation timer of one secondary cell on the basis of the indicator.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting and receiving control information in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method of receiving control information related to a specific point-to-multipoint service in a user equipment of a wireless communication system comprises receiving a notification message including indication information and an identifier identifying the point-to-multipoint service from a network, the indication information indicating at least one downlink channel related to the specific point-to-multipoint service among a plurality of downlink channels established for transmission of control information for at least one or more point-to-multipoint service, and receiving at least one downlink channel indicated by the indication information.
Abstract:
A method for logging measurement results in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: receiving a logged measurement configuration from a network, the logged measurement configuration comprising information for performing logged Minimization Driving Test (MDT); measuring at least one cell based on the logged measurement configuration; determining whether the measurement result has importance for logging; if a storage space for logging is enough for additionally logging, setting an importance tag of the measurement result to a predetermined value in accordance with the determination; and logging the measurement result and the importance tag in the storage space.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of transmitting radio link failure (RLF) information in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) supports a first communication system and a second communication system. The method includes detecting an RLF at a first cell of the first communication system, and reporting an RLF report message to an eNodeB (eNB) serving the first cell based on whether or not the RLF is triggered by interference from the second communication system. In addition, a method and apparatus of restricting storing and/or reporting the RLF information in a wireless communication system is provided.
Abstract:
There is provided with a method for enabling a user equipment to perform a random access procedure in a wireless communication system. The method includes transmitting a random access preamble and receiving a random access response as a response to the random access preamble. The random access response is addressed by a random access identifier. The random access identifier is mapped to radio resources used for transmitting the random access preamble. The user equipment can immediately confirm its random access response and perform further efficient random access procedure.
