Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for user equipment deactivating an idle mode signaling reduction (ISR) capability for a proximity service. The method for deactivating the ISR capability comprises the steps of: the user equipment activating ISR as a result of performing a routing area update (RAU) process or a tracking area update (TAU) process; the user equipment determining whether to deactivate the ISR for the proximity service; and the user equipment locally deactivating the activated ISR depending on the determination result.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for a base station to control a proximity service (ProSe) in a wireless communication system including the steps of: tracking at least two or more terminals which camp on the base station and have a ProSe relationship with each other on a direct data path; and determining whether to switch the direct data path in the case where one or more terminals from among the two or more terminals try to perform a handover or in the case where the distance between the two or more terminals is equal to or greater than a preset value.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method and a device for updating an area of a terminal. A method for processing an area update request of a terminal in a network node, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving an area update request message from the terminal; and determining whether or not the area update request is accepted on the basis of indication information included in the area update request message when the network is in a congestion state, wherein if the indication information indicates that the terminal has moved to a new area that is not registered, it can be determined that the area update request has been accepted.
Abstract:
Provided in one disclosure of the present specification is a method for transmitting a detection signal from user equipment (UE). The method comprises the steps of: driving a mobility management (MM) delay time timer, when the MM delay time timer is received by the UE from a mobility management entity (MME) in a network; confirming the priority for detecting at least one other UE, when detection of the at least one other UE is required before the MM delay time timer expires; and randomly selecting a resource based on a shared resource pool included in system information, which is broadcasted from a base station, and then transmitting to the at least one other UE a detection signal including a proximity service code from the randomly selected resource, when the detection of the at least one other UE is considered to have high priority or to be urgent.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method for managing the quality of service (QOS) of a network node in a wireless communication system, comprising a step of confirming a maximum bit rate (MBR) of user plane data of a terminal, wherein the confirming step further comprises the steps of: calculating the total MBR for a machine type communications (MTC) group to which the terminal belongs; and comparing the calculated value with an aggregated MBR (AMBR) group when the terminal belongs to the MTC group.
Abstract:
A washing machine may include a cabinet, a tub in the cabinet, a drum inside the tub, a driving module at the tub for rotating the drum, a water supply module for supplying the wash water to the tub, a drainage module for discharging the wash water from the tub, and a drying module at the cabinet for supplying heated air into the tub from an upper side of the tub to dry the laundry.
Abstract:
The present description provides a method applicable to a network supporting a number of network modes of operation (NMOs). In the method, a user equipment (UE) in the NMO 1 receives a control signal, such as mobility management backoff timer, indicating an access restriction on packet switched (PS) domain of the network. Therefore, the UE in the NMO 1 performs location area update (LAU) procedure associated with circuit switched (CS) domain without performing combined routing area update (RAU) procedure associated with both the PS domain and the CS domain, while the access restriction is in place. The UE in the NMO 1 is configured to perform combined attach procedure, which is associated with both the PS domain and the CS domain, when attaching to the network. Further, the UE in the NMO 2 is configured to perform CS attach procedure and PS attach procedure separately, when attaching to the network.
Abstract:
The present specification provides a method for monitoring machine type communication (MTC). The method for monitoring MTC can comprise the steps of: receiving, by a new serving network node for monitoring, a context from a previous serving network node according to the movement of an MTC device; checking whether an indicator for the MTC monitoring is included in the context; and requesting for data related to an MTC monitoring event from another network entity on the basis of the indicator for the MTC monitoring which is included in the context and acquiring the same.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for exchanging/collecting a device trigger by a short message service-service center (SMS-SC) in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving a first message including an old trigger reference number from a machine type communications-interworking function (MTC-IWF); and deleting a trigger message corresponding to the old trigger reference number, wherein when the first message further includes a new trigger reference number, the SMS-SC detects the trigger message and stores a new trigger message corresponding to the new trigger reference number.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a machine-type communication (MTC) monitoring method. The MTC monitoring method includes the steps of: detecting an MTC monitoring-related event while an MTC device in operation having a first priority drives a delay timer; and, when the detected event needs to be reported, transmitting a request message including a report for the detected event to a network node even when the delay timer is being driven, wherein the request message can include an indicator indicating that the request message has been transmitted due to the event detection.
