Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a UE capability message to a base station, the UE capability message including an indication of a UE type, wherein the UE type is associated with at least one of a reduced bandwidth, or a reduced number of antennas, or a combination thereof for the UE. The UE may receive, based at least in part on the UE capability message, a downlink grant for downlink resources for a data transmission in accordance with a resource allocation scheme, wherein the resource allocation scheme is associated with the UE type and a supported bandwidth part of the UE. The UE may monitor a wireless channel based at least in part on the downlink grant. The UE may receive the data transmission based at least in part on the monitoring of the wireless channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a UE may report channel state feedback (CSF) to a network entity based on channel state information (CSI) measurements and CLI measurements. In another aspect, a UE may explicitly report CLI measurements to a network entity. In yet another aspect, a UE may report a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) to a network entity based on CLI measurements, and the network entity may trigger the UE to perform further CLI measurements on signals received from other UEs based on the SINR. In yet another aspect, a UE may generate a report using CLI measurements based on whether the UE is allocated enough time to generate and transmit the report. In yet another aspect, a UE may identify a suitable priority for reporting CLI to a network entity.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to receiving, from a base station on a first subband of an unlicensed frequency band, control information that includes a resource allocation of an uplink transmission associated with the first UE and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration of a downlink transmission associated with a second UE. The apparatus also may obtain one or more measurements of a DMRS within channel activity on a second subband of the unlicensed frequency band using a listen-before-talk (LBT) operation based on the DMRS configuration. The apparatus also may determine whether the channel activity corresponds to the downlink transmission associated with the second UE based on the one or more measurements of the DMRS within the channel activity. The apparatus also may communicate, with the base station on the second subband, the uplink transmission when the channel activity corresponds to the downlink transmission associated with the second UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may implement cross-carrier scheduling. A user equipment (UE) may identify a minimum scheduling delay and may receive a downlink grant on a first CC. The UE may further identify the slot in which a downlink data transmission corresponding to the downlink grant will be received, and may identify the slot such that the minimum scheduling delay is satisfied. The UE may the receive the downlink data transmission, as indicated in the downlink grant, in the identified slot. In some examples, the UE and the base station may alternate between a long minimum scheduling delay and a short minimum scheduling delay. In some examples, the UE and the base station may alternate between a cross-carrier mode, and a self-scheduling mode.

Abstract: Techniques described provide for a wireless network to establish and implement periodic and aperiodic sidelink gaps. One implementation may include transmitting, by a first user equipment (UE), a sidelink configuration message. The sidelink configuration message may indicate a capability of the first UE to support a sidelink periodic gap and a sidelink aperiodic gap. A message may be received by the first UE indicating whether the first UE is allowed to request a gap according to one or more of the indicated capabilities. The first UE may transmit a sidelink information message comprising an absolute radio frequency channel number (AR-FCN) and an associated gap list. An RRC reconfiguration message may also be received by the first UE having and updated gap list. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

A user equipment (UE) flexibly prioritize between communication resources and measurement gaps to resolve collisions between communication resources and measurement gaps. For collisions between a dynamically scheduled communication resources and a measurement gap, a UE may communicate using the scheduled communication resource based on at least one of a time between reception of the downlink control message and a start of the measurement gap satisfying a first threshold duration or a second period of time between reception of the downlink control message and a start of the communication resource satisfying a second threshold duration. For collisions between periodic communication resources and periodic measurement gaps, a UE may either perform a measurement during the measurement gap or communicate using the communication resource based on a priority scheme associated with the measurement gap and the periodically scheduled communication resource.

For example, the UEs may refrain from monitoring one or more channels, may not transmit on one or more channels, or the like. The UEs may switch out of the radio frequency bandwidth based on a trigger event, such as a timer expiring, receiving an indication in a downlink control information (DCI) message, or the like.
