    Abstract: A butene-1 polymer composition having a MFR value of from 100 to 300 g/10 min., measured according to ISO 1133 at 190° C. with a load of 2.16 kg, made from or containing: A) a butene-1 homopolymer or a copolymer of butene-1 with one or more comonomers selected from the group consisting of ethylene and higher alpha-olefins, having a copolymerized comonomer content of up to 5% by mole; B) a copolymer of butene-1 with one or more comonomers selected from the group consisting of ethylene and higher alpha-olefins, having a copolymerized comonomer content of from 6% to 20% by mole; wherein the composition having a total copolymerized comonomer content from 4% to 15% by mole, referred to the sum of A) and B), and a content of fraction soluble in xylene at 0° C. of 75% by weight or less, determined on the total weight of A) and B).

    Abstract: A process for the preparation of a solid catalyst component for the polymerization of CH2═CHR olefins, wherein R is hydrogen or hydrocarbyl radical with 1-12 carbon atoms, made from or containing a Ti compound on a Mg chloride based support, including the steps of (a) reacting a Mg based compound with a liquid medium made from or containing a Ti compound, at a temperature ranging from 0 to 150° C., thereby yielding solid particles; and (b) suspending the solid particles coming from step (a) in a liquid medium made from or containing hydrocarbons at a temperature ranging from 10 to 100° C., wherein step (a) or (b) is carried out in the presence of 0.2 to 20.0% by weight, with respect to the amount of Mg compound, of particles of a solid compound containing more than 50% by weight of SiO2 units and having average particle size from 1 to 100 μm.

    Abstract: A polypropylene composition made from or containing: (i) component (1) made from or containing a propylene homopolymer or copolymer containing 0 to 0.5% by weight of an ethylene-derived unit; and (ii) component (2) made from or containing an ethylene/propylene copolymer containing 65 to 85% by weight of an ethylene-derived unit; wherein 1) the Mw/Mn value of xylene insolubles (XI) of the polypropylene composition as measured by GPC is in the range of 6 to 20, 2) the weight ratio of component (1) to component (2) is in the range of 70:30 to 85:15, 3) the intrinsic viscosity of xylene solubles (XSIV) of the polypropylene composition is in the range of 1.0 to 3.0 dl/g, and 4) the MFR (at 230° C. under a load of 2.16 kg) of the polypropylene composition is in the range of 3 to 15 g/10 min.

    Abstract: A propylene polymer composition made from or containing: a) from 35 wt % to 65 wt %, based upon the total weight of the propylene polymer composition, of a propylene 1-hexene copolymer containing from 10.2 to 13.0% by weight, based upon the weight of the propylene 1-hexene copolymer, of 1-hexene derived units and having a Melt Flow Rate (MFR, measured according to ASTM D 1238, 230° C./2.16 kg, (at 230° C., with a load of 2.16 kg)) from 3.5 to 12.0 g/10 min; b) from 35 wt % to 65 wt %, based upon the total weight of the propylene polymer composition, of a propylene ethylene copolymer containing from 1.5 wt % to 6.5 wt %, based upon the weight of the propylene ethylene copolymer, of ethylene derived units and having a Melt Flow Rate (MFR, measured according to ASTM D 1238, 230° C./2.16 kg, (at 230° C., with a load of 2.16 kg)) from 3.5 to 12.0 g/10 min.
